Just my first time on Athlon64 rig. I think my memory is holding the timings of the CPU, as I see some people with 2.6ghz does better than my paltry 33secs.

Thanks for the confirmation. That's what I think too when earlier on as I see my RAM can't hang on when I set to 1T.
What's the best RAM chipset for A64? BH6 and TCCD? |

Just upped 1 sec by tightening the RAM to 2.5-4-4-6 and speed to 2.75GHz.

Too bad have no money now to go onto San Diego. It's really almost as good in this benchmark as the Prescotts. Makes my Winchester look so dated now.

Stay tuned guys, the E6600 is bearing 21s in 1M superPI at stock. Here's the screenie... I am waiting for the X6800 to come; that should pose some sub 20s benchies later.
