QUOTE(OmniAtlas @ Sep 6 2009, 04:19 PM) the 4850 runs really hot. I wouldn't get it unless you have really good air flow inside your computer, or it comes with a good fan/cooler. If it gets too hot it will shutdown your whole computer. meaning 4770 better than 4850?I can't stand noise, so I got the accelero S1 which dropped my temperatures by 20 degrees+ i really dont want to change stock cooler. can suggest me 4770 with the best stock cooler?? so many q, sorry cause im noob |

QUOTE(OmniAtlas @ Sep 7 2009, 02:30 PM) hm yeah. really depends on what you need t he video card for. if you're a hardcore gamer get a 4870 or above. 4850 is adequate for my needs. if you want to minimize noise without adding a cooler, etc., go with a well known brand with one already built in. i'm not a hardcore gamer. just ordinary person who want to play football and racing game.so, i should go for 4850 instead of 4770. got any suggestion what brand?? i'm thinking of sapphire and his |

QUOTE(AMDAthlon @ Sep 15 2009, 12:14 AM) wait here's the news : hd4890 = usd199 = rm697Starting from next month, AMD will cut the prices of their Radeon HD 4890, 4870, 4850 up to as much as US$50. This move is probably to lower the current inventory of their high end GPUs to make way for the RV870 series in September. Price of HD 4890 card will be lowered from US$249 to US$199 while HD 4870 will be priced at US$149, down from US$199. Lastly, HD 4850 which we already saw the prices plummeting due to HD 4770 shortages will go below US$100 this time. Taken from VR-Zone.. hd4870 = usd149 = rm522 hd4850 = usd100 = rm350 in malaysia, we already can get this card around that value b4 amd cut price.. maybe we can get lower rm50 lower here.. QUOTE(AMDAthlon @ Sep 15 2009, 12:14 AM) lol |
