yeah it is not a hurt to get a 4870 but ever think of the price? if u r rich...then i gonna be speechless... but if u are limited with ur budget...then 4850 will just do fine...

@metsatsu, it is impossible in betwwen 4850 and 4870 will have a 10-20 fps diff..k

i read that Creative X-Fi with XRAM could give some performance gain to the games that could utilize the feature
but i still do not believe in upgrading sound card to improve performance. the gain imho, would be very minimal
the rm250 could be saved to upgrade to a better 3D card/Processor/RAM in the future smile.gif

btw, may I ask, could HD4670 support Full HD monitor? I know gaming may be out of question, but I just want a lag free Windows environment, and also HD movie watching smile.gif when I have enough cash in the future (or when Starcraft II is out tongue.gif), will get a better 3D card smile.gif

i m using x-fi sound card with x-ram..frankly speaking..doesnt notice much different and i believe only few title support it..if not mistaken few games from ID software support the x-ram features.but of cos ...nice sound card is essential for 5.1 channel gaming!footstep!!bullet drop sound!!

waiting someone to buy my 3870 and i will get the sexy 4770!!

with EVO 3, having an onboard sound card is enough
how about gaming?
*
well....if u have a good s/c and u still listen to mp3 will be a waste...u try listen FLAC/APE...but for gaming..if u r not hardcore enuf..well..of cos on board will enuf d~~btw...on board support software 24 bit only~i m using altec 4121...the cheap skate speaker..well...s/c support EAX and other effects too...buy 1 s/c can last so long compare to G/C..anyway...is just my own opinion
