I always wanted to buy an Iphone. How much do you guys think it will cost in Malaysia with tax? Definitely will be cheaper than Nokia's 5800 now right? 5800 AP set also cost at least RM 1k at cost price.

Eventually the price will drop for the old model. Unless Malaysia (MXIS) dont carry this price in.

Maybe MXIS will get the new iPhone [S] with faster speed compare to the old model with increase price on current package.

for my advised, if you want to buy phone in malaysia, don't survey the price outside malaysia, you will vomit blood..unless you have the way to buy from them..

come on, this time give lah to digi or celcom plak.. let see how cheaper digi/celcom sell this new iphone.. just see the price and packages different between celcom storm and maxis storm for example.. damn maxis blood sucker.

price cut by who? Apple, yes. Maxis, definitely no. Imagine the crrent inventory they have or commited to Apple .. think of it, Maxis will make even more money if they're buying at a cheaper price!

(unless of course the price already locked in their supply agreement hehe)

i dont like when apple only allow one telco for each country to sell iphone..
if it is Digi or Celcom i can take..
but maxis..
i think apple should consider giving all telco to sell it..

The cash you hand in for the phone is one thing, but the new phone plans required to get it at that price makes no difference. AT&T is ripping off the Americans, hope Maxis isn't going to follow suit.

Even if Maxis is willing to follow AT&T and lower their price for iPhone, they would most probably offset their losses by increasing the monthly subscription fees.
