QUOTE(Scotch2009 @ Jun 15 2009, 11:27 PM) My Fav is Almost all your bands are signed to a mainstream label. the killers nada surf radiohead razorlight the kooks death cab for cutie angels and airwaves keane oasis babylon zoo??? Anyway, I want you guys to support this band since they are from the Philippines (our region!), MOSCOW OLYMPICS. Their debut album got a bit of acclaim in music blogs and I can safely say they're the best shoegaze band of this millennium. http://www.myspace.com/moskva80 Moscow Olympics - Second Trace |

QUOTE(Vintage @ Jun 10 2009, 06:02 PM) I didn't like No Age I've not listen to Japanther though. Why do they sound so similar to Japandroids(band name-wise)? Another 2 bands for indie music lovers, Cymbals Eat Guitars and Wavves. Added on June 16, 2009, 6:52 pm QUOTE(b3ta @ Jun 15 2009, 03:27 PM) I don't think Phoenix sound similar to either Arctic Monkeys or the Kooks but their latest album is awesome though. Definitely worth a listen or two, IMO.This post has been edited by The Hardest Thing In The World: Jun 16 2009, 06:56 PM |

like it or not, indie music is getting more and more "electronica", with the use of synths and effects becoming increasingly popular.
