ok here's my rant..
6-aug : applied for cool unipack at tmpoint
24-aug : tm technician came to install phone line. paid RM50
6-sept : 1 month after application still no sign of streamyx. called their helpdesk to ask for application status. they said they will expedite.
6-oct : 2 months after application still no sign of streamyx. called their helpdesk to ask for application status. they said they will expedite.
21-oct : finally the streamyx technician called to setup appointment for installation. so i just simply checked on my phone line. there was no dial tone. i only hear a lady's voice telling me to settle my bill payments.
apparently my phone line has been cut for not paying the bills.
1- i thought cool unipack gets a waiver on the phone line rental
2- no bill came to my house
3- called tm and asked how much is due.. they said RM170. wtf?
i asked them for the breakdown of the bill. RM30 is for this month's phone rental. RM140 was from previous month but they don't have the breakdown because they could not see the bill from the previous months.
and this is the BILLING line that i called. zzzzzzzzz....
they said that i need to pay the phone line rental since my streamyx is not yet active.. yup.. streamyx was delayed on their part and still customer have to bear the cost.
what are the other charges of RM140? how would i know? even their BILLING support line also do not know.
and lastly they said - if i want my streamyx.. i have to settle the payment to reactivate the line.. that's just the way it is.

i guess you can also see it like this.. APPLY for STREAMYX... 3 months later STILL NO STREAMYX... PLUS i have to PAY THEM RM220. ZZZZZZZZZZ again. (RM50 line installation + RM170 bill outstanding amount)
