I just meet the Police I/O at BP Trafik KL and he said I'm guilty because I hit the front car (don't care about what the reason I give), so about the Insurance part, how the other person want to claim mine? Picture already taken from my car and their part I don't know. I'm issued P&O insurance (previously Tokio Marine). May i know about NCV part and anything related to it? thanks

To answer your questions :
1) how the other person want to claim mine?
The other party will claim the cost of repair through your insurance company. You no need do anything.

2) May i know about NCV part and anything related to it? thanks
Like ilyas_jamal explained, it's called NCD. When you first purchase your first car insurance, there is no NCD. Every subsequent year you purchase the same car insurance withoit claiming for accidenr, you will received NCD discount, meaning you pay lesser for your car insurance. If you claim insurance for accident/damage, then the next year car insurance will start from the actual amount without the NCD discount.

bros, if i want to pasang this, which i am planning to do before the year ends, is there anything else I should look out for or be worried about? Using stock abs, springs and all. Only tukar rim sahaja. Same size though.
*
Tukar rim sama saiz saje, tiada masalah.
Kalu tukar rim different spec. kena tengok mahu tambah spacer atau tidak, abs perlu di panjangkan atau tidak dll.

Hello,

I am a new Viva owner too, a 2nd hand black viva 1.0 Ez.
To my understanding, for a new car, one should go for oil servicing at 1K km, 5Kkm and subsequent every 5K km interval.

Just got my Viva around 2 weeks. Still trying to get used to it.
What are the things you guys normally mod on your Viva? I was thinking firstly the soundproofing, then the VR, spark plu change to iridium (when next service), later only the spring and absorber (all these depends on budget got or not)

definately will hit even with coilovers.
it all depends on your ride height and fender gap. smaller fender gap, higher chances of hitting fender.
if u want to fully avoid, change to 6jj rims, or ketuk fender as bro iylas shared in a few post back

hi there. congrats on being a viva owner!
well, best is to get used to the car first before modding.
it took me around 6 months-1 year to 'feel' the car and make necessary mods to suit my needs.
better to know your car first before modding, will help in a long run..

soundproof would be a great option on viva as our viva is known for being a milo tin.
u can try the basic 4 doors + roof sound proofing first before going for a more tedious fender + front & rear bonnet sound proofing.

Thanks for the sound advice noblesse. Will take my time to get used to my viva.

based on my experience and my other friends experience.. our viva factory fitted batt only last (1year and 3-4 months).. mine gone kaput right after 1year 3months and same goes to my friend..  sweat.gif

since that ive changed to free maintance batt.. 2 years and still rooling..  thumbup.gif

regards to your issue it could be a batt issue.. if alternator kaput.. power steering goes out..you need strong arms to take turns.. aircond doesnt work.. less power on the engine.. (ive experience once with my previous car)

correct me if i am wrong..

I got my viva last month (end Nov/early Dec). It is a 1 1/2 year old car, first owner never changed the battery. and the battery lasted 1 year and 7 months todate without any issue.

My gf owns a Viva and I think the FC is a bit high... 350-380km then it starts blinking.... is it normal? Btw, it's 60% City Drive.
*
Ya, that is good already.
Mine was 330 - 350 km before blink2. (mAybe I am heavy footed)

viva got timing belt change meh? ?
hmmmm~
*
Not only viva, all cars with timing belt need to change once they reach certain mileage. Some 70K km, some 80 K or 90 K km, depends on make of car. The timing belt will get loose from wear and tear after clocking certain mileage, therefore must change to avoid it being "torn out" or "loosen out" and cause your car engine to jam.

but for new MyVi (lg best) they use timing chain.. so no need to change..haha..
Wow! Myvi also use timing chain instead of belt, just like those luxury cars, eg Benz, Hyundai Sonata etc.

Few days back my gf's hse key and car key was accidentally locked inside the house... house's spare keys is inside her Viva... Called a "KEY" man to come and unlock the car... it took him less than 2 minutes to open the Viva passenger's side door shocking.gif

According to him, he can open almost any cars' door... impressive, yet scary sweat.gif

Well, "key man" is trained to open all sorts of locks, from house to cars.
I remember many years ago I can open Proton Saga & Wira car doors with the help of a long steel ruler, unless the owner of the cars had put in additional security features.
