Viva 850cc Manual Non-premium. smile.gif Quite satisfied but the temperature meter is gone and replaced with the Cold and hot light only, what happen between these two i can't see it, that is a thing that i find quite disturbing other than that i am fine with it. smile.gif

Dear all viva owner,

I am thinking buy a viva for my gf but dunno have to choose 1.0(A)Standard or 850cc Manual. The price different are 5,000 because 850 have 2K discount compared to 1.0 Auto with 1,000 discount.

I just worry about FC of 1.0 and also the power of auto car. Any ppl can tell me the fc for this car

Any comment?

Thanks
*
i think in terms of FC is the same gua? because 1.0 Automatic the power will slightly harder to pick up while Manual 850cc is still okay and get the pick you want. See what you are looking for, easier to drive but more expensive than Automatic but if you want more cheaper price and long term maintenance fee cheaper than Manual smile.gif

By the way, what is the millage you guys get from your Viva if it is on Full Tank? smile.gif how much you all pump to get full tank

hi all, viva 850 manual owner here smile.gif
Juz wondering anyone have change the engine air inlet tube cos it seem very funny which twisted to left side and I scared that it is not enough air flow in. BTW I am thinking to change it so guys any comment??
*
i do not have this problem but for the best maintainance always refer to the booklet, user manual to see when you need to service what. for me, i have this problem where the Clutch will sound "Ngek Ngek" for sometimes when i step on them to change gear and also the oil pressure warning light blink a second when i run the car with very low pressure applied to the accelerator. will go to service it this Tuesday smile.gif

Be extra careful on speeding above 175km/hr...i see dat ur ride is not lowered...bad things could happen. And through my experience...OEM brakepads wont help u brake in time...
*
ya, that is insane to drive in such high speed. my maximum speed at all time is only about 90km

QUOTE(wacko_joy @ Oct 24 2009, 02:37 AM)

yeah i mean the '!' sign on the dash board. i am very sure its pulled all the way up smile.gif
oh it might b wiring loose huh?
there's time i pulled the hand brake and there's no '!' sign on the dash board, when i get down from my car, my car got drop a bit >.<
*
that reaction is normal because a considerable weight person just got down from the car...don't get me wrong...even 45-50 KG is still a bit so it will move a bit, as long as it won't continue to fall then it is ok. i got problem with the signals as well, but mine one is the oil pressure warning light, it sometimes will light for one second and then off so fast...i checked with the service center, no problem at all..i guess you should let them checked too...after all is your rights to claim the warranty

my Viva feels so hot during morning or afternoon drive...the air is not cool at all even though after turned the temperature to the coolest but still the air is not cool. i wonder what problem is that? my car is still relatively new...or is it because of the car tint that is not blocking heat enough? but after open to number 4 wind the air is still not cool... doh.gif

yes, u should rotate the tyres ...

there is 2 way to in changing the tyres ...

1. is that u use it until its really worn out(botak) then change the front ones only ...

2. u rotate them every 20k until all 4 worn out, then u change all 4 one go ...
*
where to do the rotation? tire shop or Perodua Service Center ar smile.gif some said 15k some said 20k...which one is true? any other tips on how to maintain a car, please share it here thanks smile.gif

did you recently went to service at perodua and the SC ask you to install air cond filter? if yes then go to outside air cond shop, take out the filter and asked for daihatsu air cond filter. i faced this problem before and its due to the lousy quality of P2 filter.

*
Yes, but have it being fixed outside won't void the warranty? their authorize dealer for air con is not from Perodua but another company...which can be seen inside the booklet
