hi all , i'm just getting B2 P License , wanna quit from the riding bike life and planning to buy a new car soon.

after i do the survey and did the calculation with my cash flow.

i only afford to buy viva. and i decided to choose viva 850.

perodua is now having year end promotion with rebate RM1500 for viva 850.

my question is

1 = should i buy my viva at this year or wait for next year january ?
2 = perhaps got promotion such as chinese new year promotion with more attrative discount/rebate compare with year end promotion ?
3 = any comments from viva 850 owners ?
4 = viva service cost and maintenance cost is it cheap ?
5 = is it viva is a reliable and economic car ?
6 = so far any bad feedback about viva ?
7 = any others comments ?

1. is it 14" alloy rims + tires? if include tires, 250 is worth it. if not include tires, it is normal price.
when getting 2nd hand rims, make sure it has no history of accident damages such as rim bengkok/bent. to avoid headache in the future

3. steering wheel vibrate when braking is due to disc brake warped, can also be due to brake pad wear and tear.. if your car still under perodua warranty period, i suggest u go back to them to get a new set of disc brake + brake pad. if no more under warranty, u can send to perodua and ask them to do 'skimming' for u. cost about rm30-rm40 if not mistaken, for a pair of disc brakes (left and right).

4. tyre price varies. diff sizes, diff price. for stock 14" premium viva alloy rims, tyre cost very cheap oni.. about rm1xx (less than 200) size 165/55/14
Goodyear is ok for normal usage.. stay away from silverstone and sime tyre though.

ok bro thanx i know wat you mean.. btw i went to P2 SC just now the mechanic says its becaused of my throttle body was dirty(i wonder coz my car is only 2 moths old) so he said if still got same problem mayb its bcoz of my VS+GC...hmm (does this guy really knows wat he is doing?) well hopefully he is right:)

no la, just the fuel pump need to work harder so possibility of life shortened. not like its a serious problem tho.

LOL actually my car i haven't service at the mileage 1k but now my mileage is 2k++ then i tested the patrol for my car shell is more power full then other patrol but actually bhp is also ok tested before....

my car per km = 0.10 - 0.14 sen only =P

anyway anyone know where can i find a cheap plus good central locking system? don't want alarm hor

i done my 1st service already

Its in SS15, Subang area here.. The price to IRR rejection ratio is very good.. Cos the main point of installing a tint is to reject heat right. My car is using VLT 25% Tint with 75% IRR.. So quite good.. Cant really feel the heat under the afternoon sun lah.
