drop in airfilter, simota/k&n is nice. prepare around rm250 for new one. or cheaper if bought at automotive garage here..

aftermarket extractor. find a tuned-lenght. dont bother with chapalang extractor. it will worsen ur FC. tuned-lenght such as matspeed,powerzone, etc is nice. prepare around rm350 iirc

rear muffler just keep back stock, change the midbox to a better bullet. or retain the midbox and add a bullet will do also. prepare around rm150 or less for a nice bullet

better spark plug cable. those 9.8mm or 10.0mm will do. dont overdo as it will interfere with ur radio/sound system. get a nice brand. NGK is around rm200 iinm.

better spark plug. or better to contact the_catacombs and buy his side-gapped plugs. side-gapped is always good. its better than those overpriced iridium etc etc.. and very cheap also. i think he's selling for less than rm50.

VS or grounding is up to you. i did it for cosmetic purpose.. din felt any improvement.

CAI (cold air intake) remove ur original snorkel with CAI. costs only around 80 including pasang

lighten crank pulley  rm300 for a nice dampened such as zerone/mythelogy iinm

adjustable campulley rm150 each usually. i dunno viva is sohc or dohc. this thing i also dunno any effect or not if install on stock camshaft. it just moves ur powerband. so u can set if wan play pickup or wan topspeed. i suggest u to play pickup only. topspeed is dangerous la on viva hehe no offence..

skimmed flywheel. dont overdo it, as it will result ur car unable to climb genting hahaha.. skim 500-600gm is enuff i think. most workshop got it own recipe. just told them wan skim flywheel kasi pickup. around rm300

better clutchkit. made in japan exedy or trinity will do. dun take those single plate or springless. unless u think ur leg can handle. haha. plus, no use also with stock engine. hehe..

Port and polish cylinder head. contact maddriver for pricing. i dunno the price of this one. i did mine myself with help and supervsion from a pro ofcourse.

larger valve + stiffer valve springs + thicker valve retainer (RPW is a good brand)

open pod airfilter + custom heatshield + CAI

oversized exhaust pipe + performance mufflers

individual coils for each plug ?

engine management system (emanage,haltech,microtech,etc) or maybe rechip ECU to remap ur fuel etc etc.. or SAFC maybe?
actually i dunno the staging of each parts. i just wrote based on what i know and what i did to my car (some).. cheers.
oh about handling, the more bars the better lol. but prioritize on

1. front antiroll
2. rear antiroll
3. fender
4. front strut
5. rear strut
6. room bar

and better shocks. TEIN CUSCO HKS is too dang expensive. lookout for hwl or zerone adjustables...

bigger brake servo maybe.. better brake pad (EBC if u got the $$$ but dunno got for viva or not hehe )

lightweight rims? stick to stock size is better. dun add additional load on ur engine..

better tires. toyo R1r, advan neova AD08, potenza RE01R, etc..

ARB is useless? it improves ur braking power and reduce bodyroll i think.

arb effect is quite significant i think. unless u talking about strut bar?

I got my Viva 850cc Silver on 09 April... Full Tank RM50 can go for 420km++

So far so good lah ....

Just the few problem i had....

Safe Belt is quite sensitive...i mean sometime i can easy to drag, but sometime cant...

Quite shaky (gear,steering...etc)  while my car is stop

when i drive 100km/h can listen outside the wind..(fu fu fu fu ) kekeke...

and.....very noisy when raining....

is this problem  can be solve?

Been so long I started the thread and I been keep quiet for quite some time.

Sorry ya because I was busy work.

I just paid for the air-con filter + installation only @ RM28.80 ~

Then I order Viva front bumper and Viva front bonnet + black colour paint + workmanship = RM 1,049.20.

Big hole suddenly this coming CNY ... lol ...

 

nono SC dont do soundproofing for you.Shop do it all four door bout RM270+ with installation fee.I did mine at Yong Tuck Accessories for that price.Can feel the interior become more quiet because initially when the shop take off the door panel,the door is just wrapped with plastic and not a single padding or soundproofing material.

yalor yalor... the roof quite noisy when raining......

roof tak buat cause he say need to take off the wool padding on the roof so when stick back might not be nice so I just leave it as it is.Yep its real noisy when it rains

sad...My viva elite not yet one week old kena accident already. Front bonnet, front bumper, side panel, front light. All estimate at least RM1k++....not included those unknow damages yet >_<.....Just hope my car frame din affected....sad...

Well i claim insurance lor. No money to pay lolz. but radiator and compressor might need to change coz i see it bend a bit. as in the radiator "U" shape. But i ask them to change all the affected parts....dont want to ketuk back .....

Hi. Do anyone know how long is the warranty for the car battery? (Viva)

Last week my car battery is weak, so i went to p2 SC, and they changed an Alternator due they said it has malfunction, it is under warranty and able to claimed.

But this week, same problem again, battery weak and hard to start car. Went to p2 SC again, they checked, found that battery has died, but need to charge me rm155 for a new battery.

My Viva is about 1.5 yrs old, 8500 km currently..
wondering how long is the warranty for the car Battery.. 

my car battery has been replaced on today afternoon. P2 SC charged me rm195 for a new battery.

Last week the Alternator spoilt, this week the Battery spoilt. They told me that my battery spoilt is because of after i changed the Alternator, then seldom start the car and run.

It is ridiculous as every day i also driving the car and go to working, i driving my car oftenly even on weekend as well.. they keep explained that its not their fault. 

never mind, after this time car service (3rd time), i think in the future i won't service my car at P2 SC anymore.

I paid the money, and they never did a great job for me, they caused me to visit them twice within a week, wasting time and money..   

i broke the driver side exterior door handle. how much to replace it anyone knows?

my Viva feels so hot during morning or afternoon drive...the air is not cool at all even though after turned the temperature to the coolest but still the air is not cool. i wonder what problem is that? my car is still relatively new...or is it because of the car tint that is not blocking heat enough? but after open to number 4 wind the air is still not cool...

7 months old only  by the way, i heard my friend said that every 20k KM better to switch the front tire with the back tire to preserve the tire. is that so?

i broke mine on the front passenger side.. bring back to Perodua SC and they replace it for free (i think that time my car is only 1 yr+)
did you recently went to service at perodua and the SC ask you to install air cond filter? if yes then go to outside air cond shop, take out the filter and asked for daihatsu air cond filter. i faced this problem before and its due to the lousy quality of P2 filter.
they quote me 30k sum insured last year Oct (my model is 1.0 Ezi yr 2007) but i told them i want 28k. paid 650++ for it with NCD 30%

Yes, but have it being fixed outside won't void the warranty? their authorize dealer for air con is not from Perodua but another company...which can be seen inside the booklet
