found this. looks reasonable to give the old viva a fresh new look. (not including installation fees though)
wondering any workshops in klang valley doing this?

hi mine is 1.0 manual SX type, mine got power steering oil tank under the hood, maybe my arm too strong or it really does have power steering. OTR price RM37,900

for the FC, RM50 at RM1.9/ltr can only reach about 330km for my poor Viva, maybe the style I drive matters, (change gear at 3.5k rpm) usually runs at 100km/h.

here is my mod:
- Bosch quadro spark plugs (wanted to go for irridium but heard another owner said wasted money with no boost at all)
- UR front Strut bar
- front lower UR undercarriage bar
- rear UR undercarriage bar
- 14" Rim with Yokohama 165/55/R14 (original was 13" OEM wheels)

the problem is my car is 3yrs old, if 5 person fit into it the rear wheel sure kena grind at the rear wheel mudguard, maybe time to change absorber, I haven't change it before

perhaps can opt for myvi sports absorber or stock myvi absorbers..

such as, GAB/sapura etc..

or stock myvi KAYABA abs.

can solve your problem.

Hey most of the above can claim warranty wan wo..

I also have problem with engine wiring..just found out..but i only paid rm12 to check out the problem at perodua seremban.

actually, i also don't really like to go back to official service center, i think is higher price compare to the non-official workshop, but can I know how much is cost at non-official workshop if the part they provided 100% genuine.

send to perodua (near the Summit USJ) to check..
- found out is the wiring problem - paid RM17.50 to check what is the problem (got one workshop told me is fuel pump issue - RM130 for repair)
- perodua - advice to change the wiring - cost RM334.50 + RM40.00 for labour charge..

additional info
- Viva front side mirror cover - RM30.30 + RM20(painting)
- Door handle (to open the door) - RM40 + RM20(painting) - (i ask the non-perodua service center b4, RM85 without painting)
- Power Window Failure (switch) - RM30 for repair..

actually i don't really like to go back to official service center, i think is higher price compare to the non-official workshop, but one you can confirm is the parts they provided is 100% genuine.. my own experienced, the non-official workshop will recommend to use something cheaper but no warranty or guarantee on the items (they always say good but when problem arise, a lot of story and you have to spend again) but in fact some time just slightly price different from the genuine spare part..

official workshop - have the price list, can check before process..

note : i'm not saying that the non-official work shop not good, just i didn't meet one..

hello~ New member Joined Here~~

Mine Viva is 1.0 auto Full spec that one which included power steering, ABS and also the auto flip side mirror..

for the FC, haiz~ RM50 of Ron95 Esso only can go for max. 260km....Sadly!!

My mod :
- 3-1 Extractor
- Twist Bullet with 2"inlet and 2"outlet
- Replica HKS S-flow
- Denso iridium spark plug
- Works MYVI 1.0 replacement Air-Filter
- UR front Strut bar
- UR Anti Roll bar 14mm
- Front Tanabe MYVI sport Spring
- Rear Myvi Lower Spring
- Rear Myvi Greber Absorber
- 5-40 Eneos Fully Synethic Engine oil

Base on my mod..
i can't found out the problem that could make my car FC become soooo seriously!!!!
compared to my Friend viva with almost the same Exhaust system setting...
it still can go for 300KM++ for RM50 Ron 95 Petrol..

can anyone tell me wat happne on it??

P/S:car had been checked by Perodua Service center and also outside workshop, all car sensor is working and no spoil at all...only one abnormal situation is...
- the O2 sensor had give out the result some time RICH and sometime FIRM...
- foreman checked that spark plug is quite yellowish...

anyone can help?? 3 years AUTO VIVA~ rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Hi guys,

I am about to buy a 850 cc viva, was thinking on changing to sport rim 14', add spoiler and changing ekzos pipe. Will it void the warranty for the whole car or just that part?

Thks.

Oh i c

thks mate for the reply, anyone that is sure can confirm on this? If it doesn't void the engine warranty for 3 years that would be great.

Not thinking of buying a viva elite, had to think over and over again that it is quite an overpriced car for such a small car.
