First off, i hope everyone enjoyed the first Aion preview beta event kick off that started on the 5th of June. I'm sure some of you hate it, and some of you impressed at it.

Legion : Empire an Asmodian legion (guild) that is currently having an early recruitment for the upcoming release game Aion Online, the (North American version).

Here is a statement from our guild leader:

Empire is currently recruiting a few more "Unit"(squad leader) captains , After hour captains (2-3) and a few more "Strays"

We are aiming to do it all, PvP, PvE, PvPvE (in the abyss). We are also looking to at least hold one tower at least 24/7 if possible so much coordination is needed. We in need of after hour players from Australia, Asia, or any where from the opposite side of the globe to take care of the legion while it is too late at night for the NA players to play Aion.

Our Legion gives you acess to our full forums and also a 50 man Ventrilo server (active either mid June or early July) We are noob friendly, but would like serious players who are active.

if you are interested please fill out an application in our forums, there is a small template there to follow about 4 -5 questions only, so it shouldn't hurt .

although stated above , it may be different to my timezone regime.
as of now we're no hurry, but as now i'm currently appointed as the leader for the Empire guild's (Other side of the world unit team) meaning i'm incharge of the Australian, Asia and any other Oceanic regime members.
as for server and realm decisions have not been decided, because its still early. I'm also looking for 2 More Unit leaders under our regime.

The reason we're posting topics all over the other boards, is to try and get a steady group of members to get to know each other, also i believe if we grab early potential players, it be a good advantage for the legion n community and once we have enough, we're aiming for a 24/7 "Patrol" status in our server. So when we're all sleeping ^^, the american/eu side will take care of things, and when they are sleeping, we do our job, but of course, if everyones awake, we can do some major RvR. As of now we also have a few people from our timezone that are in the guild. Although i'm appointed the unit leader for this timezone (GMT8-11) i will try to do my best to keep all our relationship and communication in tact.

haha bro you got the wrong idea. Asmodians arent the angels. they're the ones with the BLACK wings.

According to most preorders i've seen, its stated to release on 1st of September 2009. as for open of all, i'm not sure if 19th june they might have another beta key event. maybe its 2-3 weeks before the release of the game. If u preorder from websites that say they provide beta key events, than ure legit for all beta events

Promising legion but i am not ready to commit myself to any of the legions at the moment. 19th June will be another preview weekend that focus on Asmodea Lv1 ~ 10 mainly on their translation.

How i wish we can pre order Aion as early as possible for the closed beta access.

I believe you're right, dont commit till you're sure that you wish to join. Im just looking for members who can be both actively playing or relaxing. Games should be something to enjoy. If you're serious about it as well, it will benefit. Thats why we are trying for a 24/7 guild. I'm not a super committing player. i cant log in and play 10 hours straight all the time. However i will be serious when it comes to serious-NESS.

No news on the local retail on will they be bringing in Aion. Still i will keep an eye on your legion since the Abyss surely going to bring fun in epic battles (PvPvM)

Yeah man, and if we try to grab hold of one tower to ourselves. We will be having a major defending job to do , and alot of coordination. Hope you'll join us, and i'll be open to any other members (like your friends) who would like to join, and that goes to all lowyat members too ! ::muacks::

Haha yeah, that reminds me on how i used to rush to fort defense in Warhammer Online. Stopped any grind / quest i do to answer the distress call for defense

thats true, doing this sort of task makes you feel like every ounce of sweat is needed form every player. I bet when the abyss starts, i'll need every ounce of sweat from all of you hahahah

dont wnna rush people into joining. but i wont reject pure potential players. I would need all the experience and people i can get to show that the oceanic side is also a dominant regime to be reckon with in empire.

Well, i looked into most Oceanic legions and have yet to find one that put effort in making it running from ground up.

Also, i didnt make the decision fast Its been a few months now. By the way, my name is Miik over the legion forum.

it depends, if the korean ncsoft wants to promote it system like L2, than it will have the SEA version, but it might be a year or more later. the na/eu version is currently beta testing 1.0 and the koreans are now going to 1.3 .

1.3? I thought 1.2 is still fresh in the KR test server? IMO i dislike the regional servers. That makes gaming no fun since MMO is about getting together but not getting together locally.

well i read from those korea blogs saying 1.3 started in private testing, maybe i read wrong, but 1.2 was quite some time already. Yeah having too many servers is just so troublesome, like you said if theres MMO as in all in one, it makes it much more fun.

But people are sure to be complaining about lag n stuff.

lol.. the game is currently closed, it will have beta events, only to those with pre-order status. I preordered mine earlier so i have the key. they might distribute a few more keys for the upcoming events.

u should keep the client, june 19th could be another beta preview.

dont know abt open beta, the game launch at 1st sept this year, n next close beta at June 19, 2009

yea, now is pre close beta, testing asmodian side lvl 1-10.

those who pre-order, (not sure who to preorder, i ordered from gamestop) and u will get a beta key.

ncsoft might also pre-random select ncsoft accounts to try the beta as well

wat if i hv the beta key (lets say for the next beta test which is on the 19th) and where am i gonna down load the client?

You will be given a link to the downloader after you bind the key to your plaync account.

btw Recruitment still open ! we need more interested players to join the legion for the oceanic side!! also looking for 2 more unit captains under the oceanic regime, and probably alot more classes!!

e.g 2 more clerics, 6-7 more dps 3 more support.

Need more members for the legion's Oceanic unit!. Refer to the post above!

The pre-order from NCSOFT online store is limited to NA/CAN/AU/NZ and its not available to Malaysia and Singapore.

anyone here can share their previous beta key with me (if you have obtained another beta key). It has been extended.

That is why i hate NCSOFT made MMOs. Its ok if they only do MMO publishing. Had good times on how they market City of Heroes.

im interested to join in but i guess i should wait till sept 1st( according to some it will release on this date).

I played the China Version, nice game and very smooth, thought of joining the Taiwan version.

Hmmm, while i do take interest in Aion, seems it's not easy to get into US beta, i presume this is NCsoft's plan to assign a local operator to run Aion SEA later in the future, i heard unfavorable things about how L2 SEA is run.

Is it playable for us? (Streamyx) That's the most important issue around.

Yes its playable despite the rubberband effect that you will get it when you run around. No delays on combat / flying.

As for the last beta, i have a friend playing, the only thing he complains that lags very badly to him is when he playrs around 3am-8am, maybe because its only 2 servers and its flooded at the moment in the american time. other htan that, he says it doesnt lag at all for him. there is slight delays *like most mmos* and he plays a assassin. Sometimes he would spike, but other than that its pretty smooth for him.

If the NA servers are located in east and west coast, does anyone know which one is closer to Malaysia?

definitely the west, but accordingly to the ncsoft websites. They're hq is located on the west. So most of their servers are named under the 12 GODS of AION. Asphel, siel, jiekal , etc etc.

They have not mention anything about location, but most na servers are hosted on the western tier.
