Climbing up stairs is a very good exercise. I started climbing up 4 floor. I take the lift and stop 4 floor below. I increase it gradually. Now I climb up 10 floors (after 1 year).
I do intend to start doing it, just normal walking or running?

I'm similar with your height and weight. However, never try to skip meal at all. Starving won't help you to lose weight in fact when you start to eat again, you gain extra fat for your body. Somehow I do believe diet works, try to have a healthy diet and now after a month trying out with my new diet, I'm very fine with it and I feel much healthier
