im afraid if cheat, will make me want to eat more on the other day

so if cheat, can eat anything ?? a lot also can ar ?like eat rice 3 times on cheat day ?
*
Then better don't cheat tongue.gif

Anyway, I don't think when you want to have cheat meal, you go spoil your diet lo. Once a while have cheat meal for the yummy unhealthy food is fine but if you eat a lot, ain't that gonna waste your effort earlier? sweat.gif

Hahahaha, I have STRICT cheat days each month. Only once a week I allow myself to tipu my diet. On those days, hantam everything my heart desires, but don't go overboard la.  sweat.gif
If I'm having like special gatherings with friends or summat, I'd take those days as cheat days, but at the same time, don't need to over-over just because I can. Its all self control, don't think or worry whether u ca or can't do it. When there's a will, there's a way, don't let your mind give u excuses!  thumbup.gif

Argh, I have not set my cheat meal days yet sad.gif Anyway, I guess mostly also weekend as going out to the shopping complex quite difficult for me to get my desire diet food sweat.gif

It means only last for a short period or it will be like that for long?
I find it weird when everyday consume plenty of vegetables, lean meats(chicken breast/fishes) but suddenly can fart so frequently sweat.gif

QUOTE(mikehuan @ Jul 28 2010, 04:29 PM)
the farting is probably caused by consuming dairy products?
*
Not really dairy products I guess, because not everyday though

9-6 job is not an excuse not to b fit as i'm sure many ppl here like me are also working out in gym after work and watch the diet.
to get a better looking abs or generally to lose body fats, there is no way but to watch out for u eat everyday.
diet is equally important as exercise. based on ur diet, u have carbs loaded food. noodles, rice, bread, pau are sources of it.
carbs is important to our body bcoz it is the primary source of energy to our body. but bcoz u hardly use any energy (assuming ur job is an office job and u hardly workout), these sources instead of being burned for energy is converted into fat and stored away for future use.
generally, please do not skip meals too. increase ur food intake to 5 meals a day. but i'm not asking u to eat heavy for the 5 meals. eat moderate or light for each meal. main point is not to give ur stomach/body anytime to rest, let it keep burning food. i notice when i change to 5 meals a day, i no longer feel sleepy in office very easily.
good job sarah, keep up the good work! more importantly dont b too overwhelmed by the result and start to lose the concentration.
about the farting part, i had the problem when i had my weight gainer. pretty nasty, those silent but deadly farts.
i guess for ur fren, the source of it would b the meat. protein food/supplement always does the damage. don't mind those farts if u get to ur goal, i think!

Thanks Janson! I'm aiming to lose more!!! Anyway, now is thinking what kind of workout will be good to firm up my body, I have very big thighs now and flabby arms, as for my waist is getting smaller as I expected, butt also firming up but the thighs seriously a headache issue for me sweat.gif I was thinking for dumbell to do some biceps exercises, as for jogging and running, I can't do it at the moment as I'm recovering from my DVT at the moment. Anyway, hopefully soon all that stupid fat will go away

I guess that farts should be ending in a while right? I think I also have the same problem now but not that much yet. Now I don't think I can really take food from outside as for weekdays, all 5 meals I prepare by myself, and once in a while for weekend too. Furthermore I strictly only boil or steam or sometimes grill (once every two weeks) without oil, even with oil also very minimal sweat.gif

don't rely on product so much, too obses with it, without knowing theories for fat burning is not recommended.. at last, you will suffer more.. 1 weeks = 3kg... shakehead.gif

Well yea, me too I don't buy that kind of crap

I believe healthy diet is very important, even if you're lazy to work out but at least eat healthily lo smile.gif

cardio!
jog and run and HIIT.
*
Mind elaborate to me what's HIIT?

I'm quite enjoy with my diet right now, and I'm thinking to increase the protein intake even more. Most of the time all my meals consider completely without carbs but then I don't know how long it takes for me to get my ideal weight. Wanting to lose about 6kgs more sweat.gif

Climbing up stairs is a very good exercise. I started climbing up 4 floor. I take the lift and stop 4 floor below. I increase it gradually. Now I climb up 10 floors (after 1 year).

I do intend to start doing it, just normal walking or running? tongue.gif

I'm similar with your height and weight. However, never try to skip meal at all. Starving won't help you to lose weight in fact when you start to eat again, you gain extra fat for your body. Somehow I do believe diet works, try to have a healthy diet and now after a month trying out with my new diet, I'm very fine with it and I feel much healthier smile.gif

I tried search around for some recipes but some seems to be quite difficult, is there any simple dishes to recommend for me to make?

By the way, just something to share. I've been using this as guideline in preparing my meals

Tell us what is so bad about Herbalife. i am no fan of any health products. I just like to hear bad comments smile.gif If there are good comments I am usually skeptical. tongue.gif
*
Erm, not to say bad but I tried before similar products, also about all these shake shake things. At the end to me it's like you drink only then you don't feel hungry that fast/at all. Then if talking about healthy way of lose weight, taking all these products really healthy meh? Why not get it directly from the fruits itself?

Just my point of views, and after my changes of diet, nowadays I'm quite concern about healthy cooking though. Even chicken stock also I don't buy outside but rather, I make it myself. Like now, learning to make some sauces

Sure thing, lately I've been having very simple dishes, all only boil but mix with some other vegetables and sauces so make it taste a bit good tongue.gif

i think you can start with ABC soup.
just throw in Potato, Carrot, Tomato, Sweet Corn will do.  rclxms.gif

Soup is easy to make but not as nutritious as you make it as fresh as possible. Lets say you already have a couple of healthy dishes, then soup for additional taste or for aroma is quite fine
