Go audition the speakers, no one can tell you how it sounds
One question, i know the source is important. Say I am using 'winamp' and playing FLAC/APE files over SoundBlaster x-fi extreme music Digital/Coax out connected to AVR. Will the sound be nice? This post has been edited by toytoy: Jul 15 2009, 11:16 AM |

Yaya true, punch comes from sub, speakers are meant to handle highs and mids and i think Dali is doing it very well.

Hehe lolz.
I've never heard Concept b4 but I would recommend Lector 1. It's damn nice for a small box and it's won a lot of awards. Sigh, dunno when I can get my Ikon 1 |

If you're planning to get a sub, why not spend more money on better bookshelves rather than lower range floorstanders?

Best case go and listen to floorstander + sub (double bass) vs bookshelf + sub and see if you like the extra bass.
If not then get a good pair of bookshelves that can produce better highs and mids. Imagine you can produce a lot of bass and you lose out on the high and mids, then you won't have a balanced system. My 2 sen |

Hehe once u go the Ikon way u're never gonna turn back
I'd say Ikon6 is a good buy. My room too small, can only eye for Ikon 1 or 2, and even 2 will be overwhelming |
