I think ventri will surely think over the Corsair TX650 for RM400.

Single rail, extra juice compare to 550w..what more? XD
*

hye everyone, this is my 1st time O'C a quad core...and i'm a total noob in this
(seems like o'cking a dual core is not the same with o'cloking a quaddies  doh.gif )
after reading some reviews/guides/how to/etc etc ....i'm still kinda blur in a few thing

1) what's the importance of O'C the NB? do i really need to O'C it?
2) if yes how high should i O'C it? any rules of thumb should i follow?
3) HT speed? this is based on the chipset or the proc? since my mobo used 770 not 790, so issit limited to 1000 or 1500 or 2000?

man...it's really confusing for me haha  sweat.gif
to many things to O'C...not like dual core
hope to get some guidance here
*
1: about the nb its really up to you. not a really performance differ if u oc it or not.
2: well about how high i always has this rule in my mind not too exceed 2050 Mhz.
3: this one not sure. well other otai can help on this.

oh ya btw mind posting the cpuz (cpu tab, memory tab, and board tab)

owh, so its ok if i not O'C the NB and HTT...not into performance but rather stability issues
its easier if those two doesnt effect the stability of an O'C
will put those screenie later tonite when come back from office

another thing is, i tried O'C @ 3.9ghz last nite...i only bump the vCore to 1.45v and change multiplier
everything else in on stock...manage to boot up windows, but after like 2 mins the PC restart itself
my question is, what cause the restart? not enuff vCore or any other factors?
i'm using unlocked X2 Phenom
*
a common answer for sudden restart should be vcore.
or mayb the proc ady hit the wall.
y dun bump abit voltage.
see how long can it run.

Hmmm it restarted after a few minutes even when ur not doing anything??
Usually my pc will only restart if i did stress test on an unstable setting hmm.gif
*
well depends on our luck lol.
for my case it auto restart after around 2-3 min.
so another bump of Vcore will help it.
if not i will juz repeat the steps till i get it right.

Ever since using Phenom II it seems easy for me to oc quite high n get it 3dmark or game stable but it's the stress test stability that is quite hard..  doh.gif
*
totally agree.
game or 3dmark is easier to be stable but when it comes to stress test it is madness.
it was diff with older amd proc.
but it is making more fun and adventure OCing haha
