Need question on my program

Basically, i've just started gym for 2 months, i've been doing machines lately with cardio, and would move on to free weight
but here's the thing, i've read online and it says that cardio would decrease muscle mass so shold i continue doing cardio with weight or just proceed to weights? bear in mind i go for cardio for 15 min jog at 9.4km/h

thank you guys! err.. i'm at the wrong end of my BMI, gonna edge to overweight tht's why. =)
and one more question.. u drink ur whey proteins right after ur work out or 30 mins post workout? a lot of school of thoughts, wanna get LYNters opinion..

=)) oh and is there a website like there's a workout name and picture like list of bicep exercises and the pictures
cause my gym is quite dead and i go solo.. =( so.. i only learn a few variety.. and i checked out your journal too darky but seems too intense for me to understand.
