QUOTE(david tamiya @ Jul 21 2009, 07:18 PM) I see.thanks for ur reply.QUOTE(TamiyaAye @ Jul 21 2009, 07:20 PM) Max oh max... Stop asking ur question in this way... I have searched lots of forums regarding mini 4wd and mostly they are in chinese, japanese or from a manila forum.Study urself abit 1st from www then only think ur question was a question anot... Btw, if u got read tamiya rules, open motor case= disqualified or is prohibited. So can open motor to clean ma? Btw, don get angry of my words, i don mean to offend u... GL HF I cant read all three languages including chinese. Added on July 21, 2009, 7:27 pmMoreover,i dont plan to take parts in races. Its just another hobby for me to indulge in only. So,opening motors isnt a problem to me as far as im concerned. Submerging the whole motor in the water?
I only tried this 'break-in' using a battery and running it for 4-5 minutes twice and after that i opened the motor to clean it and a slight regrease on the commutator. Added on July 22, 2009, 10:24 amBTW,how do i know if a motor is going to be faulty? This is because one of my Atomic Tuned motor was acting up.After i inserted the batteries, the spin was slow, then fast again, then slow repeatedly.
