3. Activities
We will have our Sonrisa singing group to present a few nice songs to the old folks. Below will be the songs' title, please sing along on that day to cheer the old folks!

Current songlist:
1. I have a dream
2. Top of the world
3. More than words
4. Close to you

If you have any other songs that you wish to suggest, please do!

4. Volunteers
So far only 11 have confirmed attendance for this particular event, need more.

5. Photographer
We don't have any photographer yet. Brian and Nigel will try their best to make it, and Vig will be helping out too. Any photographers around?

PLEASE TAKE NOTE!!

URGENT!!!

I'm sorry people as earlier I miss out this. I need to announce this to everyone as this is quite urgent.

As I've checked with the account of this home and I found out that they are actually in debt the owner for 3 months rental.They are unable to make the payment at all for the rental. I'm worried as it's very important for the old folks to get a place to stay. I hope if you don't mind, please make a kind donation to help them in this.

The amount they need for the rental is RM1000 per month X 3 = RM3000.00

We're hoping to have a casual dress code for the event: Black shirt with jeans. Opinions?

I buy that idea and thanks for Steve's suggestion.
In a way, it's easier for us to identify each other
If let say, there's any other colors in minds, please suggest, if you can't get black shirt also no problem. I think we will have this activity going on for different colors in upcoming events smile.gif

Hola people!

I'm back again after my operation with some good news. I've got a few more great and experienced members to come along for this event. In fact they are the bloggers for the star's citizen blog. I'm glad that our event is up in the citizen blog, appreciate for that approval in publishing for our event too!

Food and beverage is not the main issue here. I will be paying more attention towards the rental they need urgently. It's going to be 4 months they owe the owner, I just wish I can do something to help them in this. They need a shelter sad.gif

Update will be I'm getting one great company's director to help me in getting sponsor for the home to solve their financial problem.
Seriously that's very good of him to spare some of his precious time for this.

Anyway, we are adding in two more songs for the event, one will be "uptown girl" and "heal the world"

Well, the singing event mainly to entertain the old folks, i wish to leave them a good memory, of course i hope we will find time to go pay them a visit again smile.gif

I am going to the old folks home with drinks that Shirley asked to sponsor. My friends couldn't make it and I will be driving there alone from PJ... Just wanna check if anyone wanna follow my car? Or if you are driving, can you please give me a ride since I am alone and not familiar with the way... cry.gif
