anyone here destroyed a 45nm quad before?? hehe would like to know how many people actually destroy their 45nm quad in malaysia xD.. 1 popular processor destroyed i know is a QX9650 killed with high VTT (1.51v) after 36 hours of stress stressing from anandatech and i think the mobo was overvolting the vtt too

Malaysia is not USA, the stuffs here are expensive. No sane people would do a continuous stress test with the purpose to see how long a hardware will survive, with the side purpose is to destroy it.

Maybe unintentional case, there is.

... when i was doing ln2 ocing with q9300 ... the condensation water beside the processor socket nearly enter the socket .. ( there is a small longkang / hole thingy beside the processor socket )

Nope,in malaysia we cant use that,before the LN2 or DI is ready,they are already melted or vaporize because of the stupid hot ambient temp.
we all air cooler kaki only,highest is only 4GHz

lol.. sad lah =/.. lack of extreme oc'er in malaysia T_T.. well i've been running my vcore more than 1.3675 for months.. no degrade, no nothing =/.. VTT is at 1.36.. i dont dare put vtt above 1.4v.. later become like anandatech QX9650 xD.. and there's 1 guys in overclock.net... he is oc'ing a i7 975 extreme.. until 5ghz++ O.. crazy lol, with LN2, vcore up to 1.6++, dunno about other settings,i think he burned a few chips also ._,.. 3dmark06 score = 36k ._.

lol i've went as high as 1.6v and 1.45vtt for my Q9400 ^__^.. still wont post for 4ghz.. lol.. that is with my older mobo.. DFI LT-X48 T2R.. as the mobo is not friendly with quads >.<.. however, mobo could OC an E8400 up to 500FSB but couldnt even take a quad at 450 =.="

teacher was bugging us .. u know .. we got around less than 4-5 hours to oc per day swt ..

u think we can pre test ..ar hah.. anyway consider this as a experience .. the only attractive part in the entire demo is the smoke.. others .. student dont understand ..

Can as long as you have all the hardware and test on air first
Test FSB and stability,jot down all the setting before anything lor
AT least you can set a target say 600FSB then test that FSB to the stability you like
