QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Jun 8 2010, 11:12 PM) actually if im not mistaken even the sedan version 1.6 and 2.0 also they called it mazda3 sport. the differnece between sport and normal is dat'sport' come quipped with bodykit as standard. according to what the SA told me. yeap. 2.0 is called sports due to larger rims, spoilers and skirtings. QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Jun 8 2010, 11:58 PM) red, aluminium, grey, white, black is among only color available.i dont think hav gold color m3 here.. i've never seen any gold colour before as well. Red colour i seen twice only...wa striking la... |

wa...thats pretty awesome! i was wondering if i just put in K&N filter in..replacing the stock...do i need to chip the ECU as well to achieve that extra power? or just the air filter will boost my power already?

QUOTE(sanik @ Jun 10 2010, 01:16 PM) im using mazda 3 2.0 pearl white (commoners in the uniqueness hmmm top speed 210...i think it will be pushing the engine to the max already.it takes like 2 weeks to wait, not that long i think. last week, go on holiday to melaka go there and there, 3 passengers at the back. even the leg room is quite tight, but they seems dont complain it at all and also i dont feel any vibration at the pedal about the top speed, the salesperson told me that they already test it and it go up to 210km/h. |

QUOTE(furiezachs @ Jun 12 2010, 08:34 AM) Spoilers? Wasnt the 1.6 too has same spoilers wt 2.0? i think 1.6 doesnt come with spoilers right? or mini spoilers others claim on the 2.0. Coz i always see 1.6 from afar. Correct me if i'm wrong. Most people scurried away from Mazda 3 becuz they're worried about maintaining the beast and 2nd hand value. I dont really give any damn about 2nd hand value, albeit I know it would not get worse than a Pug or other conti. Maintaining and servicing-wise, few Civs friends (of mine) already regret their decision, becuz M3 is a more sexier car at a lower cost of maintenance. Never tried 200km'h. I think I am satisfied wt 190km/h notch and be safe...however knowing u can reach another 20-30km/h above that brings great feelings.... For me, buying a car would last me for about 6 years at least? and i think by that time, the second hand value would be around the same level as a T or H. The difference would not be that great la. I see mazda cars getting more and more everyday. I bet mazda 6 is more on the road compared to 3 though. See a lot of them lately. And when you know this little smiley beast still has untapped potential at ur disposal...u know u can count on it to perform whenever needed |

QUOTE(furiezachs @ Jul 5 2010, 10:04 AM) FC during idle (especially in jam) is surprisingly noticeable. You can't help but notice the drop. It is not so significant, maybe only costs you cents per jam, but nobody owns M3 is an oil tycoon whatsoever so it is still an ugly fact to swallow. No wonder anywhere else got i-Stop technology except Malaysia. Just look what we've missing here guys... QUOTE(jumajuma @ Jul 5 2010, 10:23 AM) FC during idle and jam is notably high.. the same can say when travel high speed eg: 170km/hr but at 90km/hr the FC very good. i really have to agree that during idle, the car just consumes quite a bit of petrol. i wonder if civic 2.0 has this issue as well?i also notice the RON of fuel doesnt give any significant performance different but shell v-power 97 give a smooth engine sound, using esso gor slightly growling sound when ramming the rpm. below is my FC figure @ 90% hiway:- esso 97 RM50 = 250km esso 95 RM50 = 320km FTW shell v-power97 RM50 = 230km shell v-power97 full tank = 455km (30% town 70% hiway) bhp 97 RM50 = 300km the other brand didnt test yet, i travel mostly on highway. I wondering what is the max speed this M3 can do? i only manage to do 182km/hr seem like no power once reaching 180km/hr. someone here said that he tried 200km/h before. cant really remember who is it already. i guess if u read back the pages you'll find his comment eventually. haha |

QUOTE(jumajuma @ Jul 6 2010, 11:37 AM) hahaha.. i think we cant measure the civic FC during jam or bumper to bumper slow drive because it didnt have MID to show. but should be the same as M3, their gear box had slightly closed ratio from 1st >4th gear = slightly more pick up = bad FC, but i believe the civic engine is more refine and very responsive and go to 7000rpm like a nothing. mazda engine slightly reluctant to revving, or maybe it just my car because still in break in period. i actually was also considering taking civic 2.0 as well but the waiting time and the common-ness on the road turned me off. Whoever also has a civic, my neighbour, my colleagues, the butcher uncle that lives next street....like waaaa...so common la... For your info i did use civic 2.0 for fews days lend for me by my boss when my previous car breakdown. only the steering respons and flappy pedalshift is a letdown, and i did booked civic earlier but the waiting list is crazy. QUOTE(ssaturn @ Jul 6 2010, 08:04 PM) Hi Welcome to the family I just paid my Booking fees on Mazda 3 2.0 (Veelocity Red Mica), now dealing with Bank loan.. happy to join Mazda 3 family.. I love my car, I won't drag like you 2 guys above.. Added on July 6, 2010, 11:43 pmi was just wondering when is the next oil change after first service..is it 5000 km or 10,000 km? opinions are very subjective. Its best that you go and have test drives to really feel and experience the car.

do we need to recalibrate the meters if we changed to 18 as the diameter will be larger and it also consumes more petrol right?
