Is not only me complaining about her, many others also face similar problem. This lady really has not much knowledge about the car and always give wrong info. I m not sure about william's hp no...he is based in Ampang branch. You can go to motortrader.com.my to see all the mazda post, he is there everyday.

Well, good to see iceman08, Billytong and genkis3 still kicking around with their Mazda6. Glad that the new Mazda3 is giving quite a stir in the local car market. Good for Mazda. biggrin.gif

Anyway, the reason why people from other countries appreciate the Mazda3 more is because they are not plagued by brand loyalty and brand stigma. They just appreciate a good car and the Mazda3 is what it is.

darlyn: To tell you the truth, ALL service centres in MY are downright lousy, regardless of car make. It's only good if you own a Lexus. But that's a different thing altogether. biggrin.gif

Anyway, they are so so and common with everything Malaysian, you need to bug them to get your problem solved. But having said that, it's not to say Mazda cars are problematic. On the contrary not ! You don't get QC problems normally associated with local CKD assembly. That I can surely vouch for. So that itself is good that you do not need to rely on the SC too much for problem solving.

So like what kokben suggested, go and have a test drive of the Mazda3 this weekend and feel for yourself.

Jchue73 is saying the truth, all the service centre are not 1st class. You just have to get lucky, from my experience, sometimes I go early become the 1st customer walk in the day. I endup getting my car service done pretty quick. Sometimes it takes 2-3hours. or even 4 hours. It is just random.

As for reliability it is the same old problem. things that come from local spoil first. I do have problems with my Car sensor, which is locally assembled. But Mazda6 got me fix the problem Free of charge under warranty. Up untill now I have no problem at all.

saw this car while passing by. Looks like a smaller mazda6. The front & the back looks just like Mazda 6... Looks pretty sporty should be a hit. Only thing is Mazda still not strong enough in Malaysia.

mid size version of M6 has to agree...
looks cool too...
but now Pugeot 308 Turbo give me more value if comparing 308 Turbo with Mazda 3 1.6...
both model also comes with a 1.6 engine but 308 Turbo just got reward as best engine if i'm not mistaken..
308 Turbo gives 140 HP while Mazda 3 1.6 only 105 HP...
so confuse...
