Max, if u going to get the apartment, that's a wise choice to go for that one first. If u can get both, better still!

Great pix Sanik, background helps made your white metal shines! Seen a lots of white M3 and yet I can't resist to see more of it...

Have u tint ur car, btw?
*
thanks man.. yaa loh, too many white m3 but still, it is the best color thats why people choose thumbup.gif

I just put my deposit for the M3 2.0 (missus's car). I would have gone for the 2.5 M6 anyday..$$$ permiting. smile.gif

As i understand, the M3 has its own quirks. Would love feedbacks from fellow zoom zoom members on the M3 bad reputation :

1. Bad FC- SE says its about 15c to 1km..but heard from other MAzda forums M3 FC really bad. Anyone can confirm?

2. Toyo tyres are really noisy - should I change it? (thinking of Yoko C Drive/or Mich MX8)

3. Poor service from SC. Unable to solve/diagnose problems. Is this true?

4. Finally the ultimate question- Why so many white M3?  I had no choice but to opt for the graphite mica..as too many white M3 out there.
*
1. i dont think its bad so far. my mileage its near to 2000km already and the ave FC is 8.8L/100km.

2. no idea abou tyre issue, but im thinking to change to 225/45/R17 after this tongue.gif

3. no prob so far, and the SC here in JB are really good compare to other service i've been so far (perodua, mitsu..). just my observation smile.gif

4. haha.. because white M3 is.. is.. chantek thumbup.gif

just try full tank v-power yesterday.. still monitoring the performance. Engine run smoother with this v power but just same power as esso 97, normally i only use esso because of the point. will check the total mileage can cover by full tank. not really impress with the smoothness i like the growling sound from engine.
*
give us the result later.. rclxms.gif but u have to make sure the way u drive with ess0 97 and v-power 97 shud be the same nod.gif

FC during idle and jam is notably high.. the same can say when travel high speed eg: 170km/hr but at 90km/hr the FC very good.
i also notice the RON of fuel doesnt give any significant performance different but shell v-power 97 give a smooth engine sound, using esso gor slightly growling sound when ramming the rpm. below is my FC figure @ 90% hiway:-

esso 97 RM50 = 250km
esso 95 RM50 = 320km FTW
shell v-power97 RM50 = 230km
shell v-power97 full tank = 455km (30% town 70% hiway)
bhp 97 RM50 =  300km

the other brand didnt test yet, i travel mostly on highway. I wondering what is the max speed this M3 can do? i only manage to do 182km/hr seem like no power once reaching 180km/hr.
*
thanks for the info.. right now im using the Shell V-Power 97, i just can say the power increase a bit and engine smoother.

just wanna share something..

im travel KL-JB (~300km) using ron-97 ave speed 100-120km/h, it takes like RM40..
but last week KL-JB (~300km) using V-Power 97 ave speed 160-180km/h, it takes like RM65.. rclxub.gif

but it really cool to speed on the highway cool2.gif

my conclusion: just drive slowly and careful, save life save money thumbup.gif

i'm pasir gudang..
normally i spend for petrol around RM50 ~ 80 per trip. depend on the condition of driving, if u drive 170~180km/hr your fuel consumption is around 29L/100km hahaha.. drive 90km/hr we can go up to ipoh!!!

drive at 4th gear very syiokkk.. but actually during i snap the pic the GB suddently drop to 4th gear when i flooring the pedal once reach 180km/hr, engine very responsive but beware of your FC.. if u notice my fuel indicator already blink.

ohh okay.. so this is cool cool2.gif
if have time, we can meet and have teh tarek icon_rolleyes.gif

Going fast above 180km/h mark would not be as scary if we have our own version of autobahn here. You know lah sometimes there are plenty slower cars in the right lane. Even if they are at left lane, they will make a sudden turn to right lane to overtake lorries, without even knowing your M3 is at top speed approaching.

Otherwise, handling and stability at 180km/h is still there for M3.

I also would love to know was Civic any better, consuming fuel when idling. Previous civic owners might have better views.

Sanik, you're from JB rite? Any ways of getting mods and parts from S'pore suppliers?
*
yeahh im at JB, juma2 too icon_rolleyes.gif

i dont have any chance yet to ask for mods and parts at Singapore. im sure theres plenty of it drool.gif

haha.. its too common, even auntie drive civic 2.0! such a waste! yeah we should start compiling the list of owner now because i also wondering how big is the M3 community in lyn. i think the next service should be at 10,000km.
mine is 7140km, which is for the next 6000km hmm.gif

okay cool, start the listing.. name | color of ur M3 | location | contact no . let me start here.. so everyone can just copy, paste and edit their details icon_rolleyes.gif

By only have a single look on a civic dashboard and instrument panel, I know it was destined for ordinary use. A car that bring u to point B from point A.

M3's instrument panel looks as if you're in a small plane's cockpit. I love that  icon_rolleyes.gif

Done 1st service near permas bridge JB, they're still new at that time cant even accept c.card. Now I guess they can.

2nd service at PJ (federal hiway). Superb service and facilities.

3rd service in another two weeks. Dunno where to go and try already...
