mazda 3 has increased their price to

about RM133k with insurance and no more free garmin neither shell oil

i also heard that waiting list is about 3-4months now and ..there might be an increase the price to RM135k soon...

Sadly they dont have people in that understand whats the meaning of volume sales.

i dont know what kinda strategy are they planning but it seems like the new mazda 3 is doing well - dont mean as well as civic or even altis but better than last time i supposed.

in fact to know what mazda cars  stands out over others..the best is head to the show room see/feel and testdrive the vehicle urself..let the sales assistant there serve u....and explain to u..

do we need to make appointment to test the car? or juz walk in??

u want sales man that dont push u buy car u go proton in glenmarie...
they will be sleeping somewhere then u need to wake them up to bring u testdrive..no appointment..no hassel...not need leave ur number also...

my seat buckle got this squeaking noise. 1st from the passenger side, now both.  its annoying. already order the parts since april but till now no news. 

saw this car while passing by. Looks like a smaller mazda6. The front & the back looks just like Mazda 6... Looks pretty sporty should be a hit. Only thing is Mazda still not strong enough in Malaysia.

well..sometimes buying a car.....really depends on individual..for me definately i will priority on what i like the most 1st...as for ur case..u r sitting ur car for at least 3 years...if u buy something that u dun like...everyday u gonna see something like that and make urself suffer for 3 years..that's not a good thing either..well it's a known fact peugeot and mazda ..resell maybe not so good.. but after 3 years...say u compare to lancer GLS or civic 1.8...or altis..how is their values after 3 years....izzit some where around there..if it's plus minus RM5k...just go get what u like bro...

peugeot 308 can be a good deal..if u like the car..hatchback and how it looks..definately it's not as futuristic as mazda 3 lor...mainly depends on u like the tubro or u like the looks...

anyway i think if u wana buy mazda 3...buy 2.0 la.then change car in 5 years time lor =)

Well on resale value wise, I would say Mazda still have slight better resale value than the Peugeot. Mainly because 1st it is CBU and secondly as what you said a Japs car having better resale value. if you ask me I would say save another 20K and go for that mazda 2.0 or u wait for another 6 months take the showroom unit or hope there is a second hand for sale. Mazda 1.6 is just too overpricing. Later if u want to resale just the lack of features, much smaller engine alone can easily kill the resale value by a wide margin. if I got a Mazda3 2.0 I probably able to boost the engine size + the features it has as my main selling point. The features of Mazda3 2.0 is probably still going to be as good as others for the next 3 years, so it is still makes sense to customer even after 3years.
Part of the reason I dont know why Malaysian bother resale value unless they plan to change car every 3-5years. Even after 5 years, the diff probably is about 5-10K only. Civic might be better resale value but lets not forget that there is also enough civic for sale too. So civic owner cannot hold their price too high, because across the street, there is also a few similar civics for sale too.

Many of us Mazda6 owner here is 2.5, including myself. If u ask me, until today I am still playing with my car's features, especially the keyless entry. So the features in mazda3 2.0 makes alot of sense in your every day drive.

yup it is pretty bad without those 2 thing. Those 2 come in very handy for your everyday drive.  Something I have been keep wondering why would the local version is always a cut down version compared to foreign one?

and btw mazda 3 1.6 is 4 speed auto while the 2.0 is 5 speed auto. 

sadly to say ... not even all conti car had it ... i would say these features r common ( might b standard ) for market out there ...

but in msia ... everything beyond simple is an extra feature ( and they charge a premium for these so called extra ) .... look at (proton ... some facelift n body kit = special edition) .... (toyota .... body kit = premium) ..... (honda ... facelift + body kit = new + more expensive) 

thts y i like mazda 6 veryyy muchhhhh ... compare to camry n accord ... an extra few k's to get these premium extra n CBU japan is juz a bargain .... try fit these to camry or accord i guarantee they will sell at least 180k ... im motivating myself to earn more juz to own a mazda 6

its like someone living in a flat n say to a semi-d owner " flat oso can stay ma , no nid so big , cleaning very diff ... aiya so big oso no use la" ... as the chinese saying "u cant get the grape then say grape sour"  aih ... no grape ma go for raisin first lo ......

if got more ppl buy mazda..then definately it is possible to have a ckd mazda...

will upload my car picture soon.mazda 3 look small but it has same length /width with civic .when i park between previous honda accord , surprisingly it almost same length.

by the way mazda 3 is more on driver side.leg room is cramp.but who  care , most of the time only 2 of us in the car
