Just 2 week working in pulau indah already scratching my front lower bumper and one of the wheel already bengkok. how much is the cost to buy just one wheel from mazda?

thats such a heartache for you. Even if got small stones hit my car when i'm cruising i also feel very pain.

Our company got some construction work there, so I need to visit in daily basis. I mean the rim not in perfect rounded anymore. Already re-do the alignment at klang and their mechanic said cannot balancing the wheel anymore unless repair it by flame torch and skim. Put the repair under kiv, and relocate the wheel to rear.
Before going in kesas rite after going down the bridge got big pothole due to road maintenance work. I manage to reduce my speed to 40kmhr before hit it but still damaging the bumper and rim.
For stonechip I lost count already. Luckily I done pps to my car, but still got few mark on my hood.

jumajuma....better buy after market sport rims instead of buy only pieces from Mazda that could bring a huge cost i think.

maybe i'll repair it 1st, only cost rm80 to repair. Not really interested with the aftermarket rim, but i do have interest with 18"rx-8 rim. but the tyre gonna cost a bom.

Every parts for MZ3 is expensive. Have you guys give a thought how much the windscreen will cost?

PPS can prevernt stone chips?
AFAIK, only a thin film of paint coat by those painters can help to protect against stone chips..

Not too sure about windscreen...i'm guessing at a range of 1800? coz the wing mirror is already 750

im also got stone mark at my windscreen since im following with speed behind this big lorry.. damn!

guys, any news about calling back mazda 3?

the stone will damaging the pps layer 1st before reaching our coat. but for big stone sure will chip our coat.

Added on August 22, 2010, 3:41 pmfinally i manage to reach 200km/hr early this morning on my way going back to my hometown at malacca. Considering my car no longer in pristine condition i decide to push it to maximum by manual mode. at 180 already felt my rear float and vibrating due to the damage rim so i decide not to push higher than 200km/hr. Consume 1/2 tank of fuel from KL-MLK.
sorry no pic coz it kinda scary. but 200km/hr rpm at 4.5k only.

I got my 1.6 M3 sedan 3-4 days ago. U know the feeling? its like marrying your untouched girlfriend and enjoy the malam pertama... hahahah!!! everyday feels like honeymoon now for me.... ^^

btw my MID shows avg fuel consumption of 7.9-8.1 liter per 100km. I think this is quite good, even before the 1st service. On par with my saga blm. Or i think slightly more economical. Now i always find reason to go always go out and drive my baby, sometimes just to go to a bank, i prefer to go to a further one than the nearer one. ahahah. its sickening.

should be lower than that i think if u're didnt drive it too hard, 7.9~8.5 is my FC for 2.0, urs should be lower because 1.6. wait after 1000km will going down more i think.
haha.. it same with me, i always prefer to drive my car even i got 2nd car and motorbike i didnt use it that frequent. within 2 month my mileage already 14000km now.
