Yala. lol
No me no a330. tongue.gif
coz indirectly I am working while showing you all ythe camera. So I OT 2 hrs from there. XD
You guys has poisoned me man. I'm snapping pics with various lenses today with the new "baby" camera. Will post pics later when I get back home. So hard to make a shot with blurry surrounding (or izzit called depth of field? laugh.gif)
*
since u r working in sony..u shd have more chance to try out all the lenses/cameras than any of us right??

anyway...the quality/area of blurring is called bokeh(jap word)..DoF is the one determines how big/large the area u going to focus..so shallow DoF = huge area of bokeh...and vice versa...

but since that the sensor is the same one..does it mean that..if there is any improvement on the IQ...it would be due to the software aspect???

my knowledge on wads inside the camera is stil very shallow..not sure is there any new things changed/implemented which could improve the IQ other than the sensor tongue.gif

as long as the hardwares arent too much diff..same NR algo shd b able to apply across the similar range....if the improvement is software base...doesnt it mean that theoretically a300/350/200 shd b able to enjoy the same benefit just that sony decided to give it a skip inorder to boost their sales for the new models?

achew - my interpretation would be that it's that moment when danbo finally meets achew and finds out what achew has been up to. It's like one of those moments from a movie where the main character discovers that his/her life has always been watched and documented by this unknown/mysterious person...

it's that time, when danbo suddenly comes across this secret room that he never stepped into before and finally decides to investigate what's in it... curious he clicks a few buttons of the high tech machine he sees in the room... it suddenly powers up and brings up this holographic sort of screenshots with him in them... he expresses admiration, shock, and curiosity all at once.............................who can this achew person be?

....to be continued..lol!
*
lol..nice story..as long as my viewer can tell its a holography type of thingy...the rest shd b up to their imagination =)

imo..if the lens would be replaced sooner or later..and its not one of those expensive lens..no point to spend too much on the filter..like wad shootkk said..buy exp one not worth it..cheap one would make the IQ even worse..so might as well don buy..just becareful....

yea man... i might save a lil cash... but that's for my future body upgrade la... collect lens 1st... from UWAs now im comparing 17-50 and 17-70... hehe...how fickle minded...sad.gif

although i think the 17-50 is the best 18-70 replacement to many alpharians... but somehow i also think the17-70 is a lil more interesting compared to the 17-50... in terms of it's magnification ratio 1:2.3 for the sigma and 1:4.5 for the tamron.... and also the MFD with 20cm for sigma and 27cm for tamron...
*
i also vote for 1680 or 1750 depend on your budget..

constant aperture wise..even tho u said u used to kitlens already..but once u get to use them..im sure u'd fall in love with it immediately..

something also bugging me quite badly..im really interested in constant aperture...and 2470 caught my attention..but too bad the range doesnt look appealing if i use it on apsc...just now when i was bathing..i was thinking..hey..y not 70200??it sounds okay on apsc..constant aperture..but after awhile..think i better pause it first...don wanna buy it too impulsively... blush.gif

i think 2470 range would fit my usage more than 70200...i don usually shoot in long range >.<

Have you actually tried using the 24-70? I dunno about you but I find it kinda frustrating having the 24mm on the aps-c. It's not nearly wide enough. 18mm is ok. For aps-c I would love to have 16mm (i.e. 24mm on the FF). If you really do not mind it starting at 24mm then i guess it's ok.
*
nah..im not gonna use it on apsc unless i got a uwa and i don mind the hassle of keep changing lens(which i dont like at the moment)...actually my a300 is holding me back for 2470..else i'd definitely get it if im using a FF..but seems like a 2nd FF camera would not b release anytime soon...guess i can only dream on my 2470 n drooling on my pillow(yea..imma sucker for constant aperture lens >.< )

Can someone recommend me a good telephoto zoom lens?

Currently my choices are the "beercan" selling at  garage sale for 750 and the Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO DG Macro (should be lesser right?)
The cheaper the better  laugh.gif

Been a while since I played with my A200. Need new lens to make addicted to photography again  tongue.gif
*
if budget is a concern..i would recommend beercan =)
