The Deloitte Tax Challenge is back after a successful 2008!

Take the team challenge:
This competition will challenge your team’s powers of reasoning and working creatively with limited resources (in the real world, most of us don’t have multi-million ringgit budgets). While working to get the best out of each other, you and your team will experience real business issues such as acquisitions, mergers, divestments, and restructuring. Success requires a blend of careful planning with a dash of good judgment under pressure but, don’t forget it’s also important to win the approval of the 'board of directors'. Otherwise your great ideas will come to nothing.

Or take the individual challenge
This competition will separate the weed from the chaff, and well, the tax savvy from the not so tax savvy. Your tax knowledge will be challenged more than once as you head towards the ultimate prize. Along the way, you'll experience real business issues such as acquisitions, mergers, divestments, restructuring and so on. If you perservere, keep a cool head and are able to show your stuff to the 'board of directors', you'll be well in the running for the grand prize of RM2,000!
