TEAM REGISTRATION 101

1) Download the registration form from the link above.

2) Fill in the details in the registration form. There are various methods for this but the easiest is to download and install the program Foxit and use it to edit the form.

3) Rename the document to your name for easier reference.

4) Collect your other team member's filled registration forms and zip them together.

5) Attach the zip file to your email, addressed to shah[at]e-clubmalaysia[dot]com and cc to frankie[at]e-clubmalaysia[dot]com and avin[at]e-clubmalaysia[dot]com with the title 'TF2 Games & Gadgets Regisration' or 'CS Games & Gadgets Registration'.

6) If your registration is successful, we will reply your email with the content stating that your registration is successful.

FAILURE TO ADDRESS AND CC THE EMAIL TO THE CORRECT PERSONS WITH THE CORRECT TITLE WILL RENDER YOUR REGISTRATION NULL AND VOID. A SUCCESSFUL REGISTRATION REQUIRES THE REGISTRATION FORMS OF ALL THE TEAM MEMBERS. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RENDER YOUR REGISTRATION NULL AND VOID. THANK YOU.

Ah good catch. Corrected and uploaded the correct one.

The CS 1.6 Amateur Cup is an annual tournament and the Games & Gadgets event would be a great opportunity to have it again. I know the list is outdated (since most of the people listed don't play anymore) but it is needed. Perhaps we will plan another CS 1.6 tournament in the future that is open to all.

All the money pooled into sponsership liao...

@ steamboy : really appreciate what you guys are doing for both 1.6 and tf2. constantly organizing tourneys and this time even proving sponsorship for our local tf2 players. giving them a chance to compete in singapore.
as for 1.6, the tourneys might not be as often as we use to have it (eg 2007 when there was like 1 each month), but its better than nothing.

Please clarify this ASAP. Is it possible for a person to play BOTH competition? I might have couple of friend interested in joining the TF2 tourney but they already registered for CS.

The CS 1.6 Amateur Cup tournament will be running for three days. It will start on Friday (12/06/2009) and ends on Sunday (14/06/2009). This is of course if all slots are filled. The TF2 tournament will run for Saturday (13/06/2009) only. So judging from this, it is not possible for a person to join both tournaments. Unless of course, the team (in CS 1.6 Amateur Cup) loses in the first stage.

As for substitute members, yes, you must register them for them to be eligible as a team member. Take note however, subbing is a permanent replacement for the subbed member for the rest of the tournament.

There are still slots for TF2 and CS 1.6. So spread this around and get more people joining.

Hey uhm I've registered already but due to some unforseen circumstances one of my team members wouldn't be able to make it on the SECOND day of the tournament. So do I have to re-submit my registration with our sub's form? Or can we do this on Friday itself.

But if we don't make it to Saturday then no problem la haha.

Well as most of you know from previous tournaments, we will try to cram the scheduling as much as we can so that we can finish the matches on time. So, the scheduling is thus because of the event time and also because of certain limitations (ie number of hardware, etc).

As of this moment, there are still slots open for both CS 1.6 Amateur Cup and TF2. There are 2 more slots open for CS 1.6 and 4 more slots open for TF2.

If any teams that are still interested in joining, you have to register on the day itself. We will print out some empty forms but if you want your registration to go easily, please print a copy of your own and fill it in so you can just hand it in to us.

So for CS 1.6 Amateur Cup, there are still 2 slots available, and you are only allowed to register on the day itself, Friday 12/06/2009, 2pm.

For TF2, there are still 4 slots available, and you are only allowed to register on the day itself, Saturday 13/06/2009, 11am.

Results from Team Fortress 2 Tournament:

Anamoly won the tournament after beating I:Pr in a gruelling final match up. Anamoly who came from the loser bracket, drags I:Pr to another match-up after beating the latter with the score of 5-3. Another match was being set and Anamoly book their place to Singapore after a 5-2 win.

The other teams are -=@$$=-, eXBoMB and one.two

Congrats and well done to all participants who support the tournament.

Meanwhile for CS 1.6, the finals for winner bracket, loser bracket and grand finals will we held tomorrow. Make your way to Mid Valley Exhibition Centre tomorrow to see the matchups.

Regret to inform that no L4D free play tomorrow, as I was being informed by the organizers that they would be utilizing all PCs for the finals.

TPK, stick to Heavy next time.
