Out of all the big summer blockbusters I watched this decade, this is the worst.

Yes, I'm a Transformers fan.

TF3 would most likely have Grimlock and Unicron inside based on scriptwriter hints.

But no Michael Bay please. I'd take James Cameron over that fart who mixes explosions with toilet jokes anytime.

This. Pretty sure they'll be wiped out in TF3 since nobody likes Jar Jar Binks types of characters anyway.

Remember when Michael bay was announced as director for Transformers and all the fan complaints at it? All their worries on what Bay would do to the film didn't happen then, it happened now. I doubt Orci and Kurtzman are responsible for the mess considering they did Star Trek as well, probably Bay's direction in this film. Here's an example.

Borat is an example of successful word of mouth marketing. TF2 isn't. Also, I don't see how your justification at big selling films means they are excellent, Spiderman 3 was absolute crap, the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels were all mediocre with ridiculous plots. It's all down to hype and CGI to sell these big budget flicks (and Jack Sparrow for Pirates). Just stop being a Michael Bay fanboy and accept that a lot of people hated the film for what it is.

And to whoever who said ILM is going to win an oscar for special effect, you've forgotten Avatar is screening this December.

It was probably more of Spielberg's meddling in the first film that made it decent, as he oversaw most of the scriptwriting direction in the first film. Second film he was credited in name only, did nothing.

If Bay takes a break very easy, replace him with James Cameron instead, easy solution
