I'm don't think that has anything to do with Bay concerning ugly vehicles and robots, more likely it is Hasbro.

No they don't have much say and I didn't meant that too! I'm saying the designs of the robots are theirs, certainly not the filming crew.

Hmm, I watched the first movie again yesterday and noticed:-

There are more robots fighting than ROTF. More of Ironhide, Ratchet and the nasty Decepticons. The only time these Autobots were firing something was from behind the humans in some village in Jordan? Why don't Irohhide, Ratchet get out and take on these Decepticons? Ironhide didn't fight at all in this one! Why hide behind humans? The battle in the woods was over in just minutes. Why did some here says it is very impressive? Why did Bay took out all the cool stuff from the first movie? Overall there seems to be less robots fighting in ROTF?

Come to think of it, reading someone here posting about TGV's shorter version, I remember a few years back watching the Matrix 2 in Ipoh and they actually cut off the entire highway chase scene. I was pretty gutted. Maybe I got the shit version here too,

Don't need to imagine, one of them did cry. Some farted(well, it seems like that to me!) and some hump on human's legs like some dogs do(usually you see these dogs a lot in other Hollywood movies, not so much in real life).

Yes, I don't know what happened to ROTF. Afterall, it is the same team that did the first one. One good example of a great and funny moment was the entire Autobots in Sam's backyard.

Also, it would've been great if we didn't get pointless characters like that tag-along guy(Sam's room mate, anyway remember his name?). What was the point of having him? And would've been greater if the Twins screen time were replaced with Sideswipe and Jolt. And it would've been a movie we all wanted if the Autobots were to engage the Decepticons head on in the village in Jordan instead of hiding behind humans.

Less humans for the next movie and Bay to die before they start making it!!!

I know I've nitpicked a lot about ROTF. And I'm not the only one. Allow me to say one thing.

A good movie doesn't need so many people to defend it. A good movie defends itself. smile.gif

ROTF isn't the worst movie. It also isn't the best. I'd say it's an average movie, hampered by its inconsistent plot and some bad editing.

http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/smg-transf...-questions.html

This is a good article, pretty much sums up how poor the plot is. If the producers could answer half of them in the movie itself, it'd have been a great movie for sure smile.gif

Well having read a few point in that link, that does seems a lot like nitpicking tongue.gif, I don't need logic of that sort mentioned in the link in a Transformers movie, I need to see robots fighting robots. I believe my points in the earlier post still stands, no matter what the others say.

Hey, a lot of those Decepticons that crash landed in Jordan, didn't take any forms. That's why they are "stainless steel colour". At least that's my take.

Yes, as I said earlier these 10 so-called gaping plot holes are nothing more than nitpicking.

No,the reviewer is being honest.

The whole movie is full of plot holes and lack of proper flow.

How can you make a movie that is just a series of random stuff join up together?
*
No, no, no. The reviewer is nitpicking, that is a fact. I do find nimrod's need to reply to every criticism a bit annoying though.

No matter how you try to justify it (robot/alien heaven/whatever) the idea of a robot afterlife is just ridiculous, seriously.

Sci-Fi stories have been done so many times, and they have explored robot/alien subjects enough times. But how many times have they explored the idea of a robot "afterlife"?

I follow sci-fi and fantasy stories, and really enjoy them. But I can't wrap around the idea of robots/aliens having an afterlife.

Simply put,

Idea of Robots/Aliens - Quite preposterous but acceptable.
Idea of Human Afterlife - Preposterous for some but acceptable.
Idea of Robot Afterlife - So preposterous it's funny.

So, we are supposed to believe that Aliens, Predator have Predator heaven? Or that the aliens in Mars Attack go to hell because they attacked Earth?

Come on.

Hey, the idea of a afterlife for us is just as ridiculous, if you ask me, but let's not go there.

I LOLed at the border checkpoint "problem" he mentioned. After I responded I OMGed the whole nite to find out some viewers DO need to be spoonfed that deep.

imagine this scene in a typical movie:

scene 1: Ali  is eating rice on the dining table
scene 2: Ali is on the couch playing PS3, and the plates washed lying next to the sink.

Common sense told us that Ali might have washed the plate and then proceed to play his PS3. But there exist SOME viewers who might asked "Wow... how did Ali managed to end up playing the PS3. Who washed the plates for him? I don't see his parents around!"

Common sense also let us know Ali has hands and legs and is a typical boy who is ABLE to do housechores with no difficulty. There need not be extra boring scenes on Ali doing his dishes.

Exactly, you just pointed out how ridiculous those questions are, and to think the original poster took the time to post it up here. For what, may I ask?

The beauty in many movies is that it teaches something new. From TF2 , I never know whats a railgun and its weakness and all. Typical audience wanted to be made known of it so that they wanted complete understanding with no doubts whatsoever by the movie itself, within the limited duration of 2 hours +/- 30 minutes.

Since we're NOT watching 24, I bet the battle scenes between the bots and decepts last longer than 1 hour (but only condensed to less than 30 min). Some audience even question how easy for the deceps to be killed in such short "time". thats movie-watcher-time, NOT the exast timeline in the movie itself.
In most movies involve church wedding, we see it happened and ended in less than 15 minute (with main focus on bride and groom on the altar , ready for their vows). In a real church wedding I been to, I sat there for 2 hours ++ before the groom finally kiss the bride. I dont "impose" this kinda of thinking and criticise wedding scenes in movies are "misleading" coz it doesnt "show all".

Yes, yes I agree with that as stated before. My question was why did you post those questions/answers up, did you take it from somewhere or did you come up with those questions yourself so you can give those "smart" answers?

alanyuppie, it appears you are only answering to the questions posted by one member here. My apologies, I've mistaken your post and it seems you're only helping the other members here.
