ermm you do know that,the satellite he hacked is not a normal satellite with no security encryption. Unless you physically hack it theres no way you'd crack the security,if it just intercepts the signal it'll be unable to decipher it as he is not familiar with the way the signal is synthesized, probably you'd be better off happily watching eagle eye.

It was a disappointment for sure. I think I laughed at the inconsistencies more than I laughed at the jokes Especially when they discovered Jetfire, one scene they were running scared because he's a Decepticon, next scene they come forward to Jetfire. Why the hell did you run away in the first place!!!

Personally I don't really care who the director is, Michael Bay, Uwe Boll, whoever. Just keep the story straight and proper. Doesn't matter if it's Transformers, terminator, GI Joe or whatever, nothing kills a movie more than an inconsistent plot and bad story flow.

He's supposed to be a super mega ultra advance decepticon comm expert.

i just went for the movie yesterday, very dissapointed.. First wan better..

yeah he still is, even in cybertron he is super advanced, but again landing firmly on reality if you were to invade an alien planet,no matter how backwater their technology is you'd have to physically study it in order to mimic or to influence it to do your bidding. Remember even in the first movie,both frenzy and Blackout hacked the US military servers manually to get to witwicky and also initiate the virus that crippled all communications. This movie isnt about magic, its about everyday conventions.

Decepticons been on earth for MANY,MANY,MANY years, hiding in human midst. Don't you think its not enough for them to "track" and report back the progress of human development in communications to finally break their codes ? Maybe hours after Alexandar Graham Bell made his "first" successful phone call, soundwave or other decepticon would've easily analyse this new "human technology" and exploit it. Don't forget, Transformers are a very advanced civilization even at 17000bc.

In the first movie, Blackout and Frenzy doesn't specialise in what soundwave's MAIN and major function.

From the look of it.. soundwave is potrayed to be much "weaker" in this movie.

Wipe away the childhood transformer memories and take this as a new one. Maybe the movie will feel better.

Normal ppl dont really know that Soundwave is an expert. They just know its a decepticons that is able to hack the satellite.

Regarding the plot issue, its pretty hard for the to put all the scenes into a 2 hour movie. Maybe they will have an extended cut in BD?

Darkchaser: Hey bro. I guess u think too much le. You ard have bias towards this movie before watching it. I tot they stop running away from Jetfire only when Simmons said something like they shud be safe because Jetfire doesn't seems to atk them.

And seriously, this movie aint for the Transformers fans but instead strike a balance where Transformer fans can enjoy the CGI and the world would understand end enjoy the movie as well. If the movie was purely for the fans, they might reduce the investment and make it looks like a comic like u guys wished. No megan fox, no army, no jokes etc. Better off watching cartoons.

Edit: Dont think too logic la. Transformer itself arent logic too rite.

(Quick Review)

+ very good sense of humors!
+ charater development develops nicely
+ some cool CGI, the most complicated CGI i ever seen
+ bigger locations, bigger robots
+ praised for summer film, really good to watch with families
+ 200mil budget film uses nicely!

- girls are to much, even the robots are girl wtf?
- 150m non-stop action (some of you like this but i, don't)
- transformers talks to much, bumblebee isn't a star on TF2 like it in TF1.
- ending was cool but could have been longer

watch'd it last friday. my friend pursue me to see this film, without them, i won't be seeing this film. plus, ima transformers hater, so any comments i made to this film, please calm down
at the first part of the film, i think it was superb, very great for an introduction. nuff said, i like it. and those humors all around the film? wtf, it's superb! everyone in the cinema laughs so hard even for me can't insist that
but when it comes to the middle of the film, i felt a lil' bit down. i see to much of actions which made me had a headache. 150m of running time with non-stop action. i just can't stand this stuff. but hell, it's summer film anyway.
and the last part of the film which is, the ending. i didn't say it wasn't good but it should have been longer. i felt like i left the cinema to quick even the running time was waay to long

uh, sungguh pening la watching this film. it feels like the film was complicated enough even it wasn't complicated. one time watch is enough, not so addictive thanks to the non-stop action. otherwise i would watch it for the 2nd time. owh well, if someone wants to argue with me, go for it because i can't stand too much action scenes. really, i prefer a simple film, but addictive films like TDK. even for Terminator Salvation, it was rather simple but i watch it like 4 times and it still didn't let me down even for now.

Well, undeniably there are many stuff failed to be tied up nicely.

We see some constructicons on board the tanker, ready to do salvaging work. Wow.. finally, they waited for 2 years for a human tanker to set course passing through the abyss where megatron is dumped (I though such place is restricted and guarded heavily by the navy? how come a tanker can easily pass through it?). I think soundwave is helping in "diverting" the route of the tanker to help the constructicons. But prior to the tanker departure from the port, don't the crew double check its cargo ? If I'm the ship crew or dock staff, I will be shocked to find out there are "additional" construction vehicles on the tanker, and demand to know its origin before giving a green light for the tanker to depart.

Well, considering the nature of decepticons to be violent. The most logical explanation would be, those cons torch the port/dock and killed everyone.. then transform into vehicles and went onboard the tanker. then soundwave helps "reprogram" its route to go salvage megatron.

That is why they call them "robot in disguise"

Well maybe the construction vehicles is a cargo itself? Tot about this possibilities? And maybe the tanker is far way from the navy perimeter and the decepticons dropped and dive towards megatron. There is also a possibilities on this rite? Decepts are violent, but they do mentioned that they wanted to remain unnoticed until Megatron finally decided to let the world knew rite? They are way too many possibilities because humans have different thinking. Its just happens that we do not think the same as Bay and his script writers. We can only sit and try to enjoy the rm10 spent.

hmm wait, if thats the case they would have known where the ALLSPARK and Megatron was hidden in the first place? they only found out later on only in the first movie after a physical hack by frenzy and Blackout,that being said its not possible for the decepticons to have been able to break or understand the codes eventho they have been staying here for the longest time, cause all of the US technology is made in secret,unless they infiltrated with a pretender in human form and kept tabs on all the technology in other governments around the world. There was no mention of any decepticon being on the planet apart from wheelie saying those who were on earth were the legends of cybertron,even Jetfire was an autobot and was sent to earth to track the fallen. We dont know for sure if the legends were indeed all decepticons,if that were the case they would have easily tracked down the ALLSPARK location at hoover's dam.

Even if you said that blackout and frenzy dont have specialties like shockwave in the first movie that would mean that Shockwave only recently appeared along with the fallen,so he is still new that means he has to position himself with the military satellite in order to better infiltrate their defense communication.

For this movie,soundwave has been projected as he was in all other previous work, Megatron's highest in command,his communications officer.

I dont even remember much from the childhood transformer.

I pretty much going in without any knowledge about transformers and it's still a bad movie.

The plot isnt consistent at all.
