i bought 9 ft x 4 ft from mahihi about 2/3 weeks back, didnt have the time to post it online. it is insuflex, no hanky panky there. looks good, but i have not installed it into the car. will post pictures here when i get it done, to further boost his reputation. very friendly seller, bump!

i bought half roll from him before, so fast service..less then a week received already. it is high quality insuflex, looks good when you see the material, but i have not installed it into my car. need to find dunlop glue 1st as what he told me best adhesive to use. he also recommend me what type good to use for my side door without mod the clip.  im the type dowan so much hassle when install it.

upz for my man.. some glitches with the courier service ( u know who ) but all turns out well.

did my floor, 2 back door and my bonnet. left some spare.. very easy to diy. just cut according to shape, apply some ca glue and left to dry.

just installed it the other day. took about 4 hours from 5-9pm thanks to being procrastination. hehe. but after installation, the results are obvious. my car feels alot better now thanks to the sound proofing.

not only that, heat in the car is also reduced, as my exhaust is pretty hot. very good results, considering i only paid rm90 for my insulation.

This is my door panel using 10mm.

the outcome is so so amazing and your door feel so solid.

but my door panel a lot of clips, cant really close fit. so have to do some magic there

On the other hands, my fren is so desperately install on his ride, done 4 doors panels with 10mm, bonnet, even he dismantle the roof and install the 10mm together.

He took around 12hours to get it done

The result is marvellous  

hey, wanna ask. if put for bonnet, can it withstand the heat produced by the engine? and the glue, will it peel with the engine heat? thanks!

haha, here's another update from my ride.

i juz done my roof, by dismantle it, then stick 10mm on the roof ( steel plate part )

then clean my roof carpet, stick 6mm on the surface.

now part under sunlight, when go in, the heat not really affect much liao.

u can totally feel the different.  

very very satisfied.

the only problems is the dashboard which is plastic or pvc so it absorb heat more and release more.

gonna do some 6mm magic on my dashboard soon

i bought 900ml tin Dunlop CA glue.

for roof used up almost half tin

btw, dunlop glue u wipe it on insuflex surface evenly, then stick, very firm liao.

wont drop off for sure.

After COD with him my hand itchy so I tried to DIY one door panel, took about 2 hours. Cuttings a bit cacat, but it fits nicely into my panel 

Tomorrow test drive see got improvement or not. (btw my door still got hollow metal sound, I guess there is something near the power window there loose, T.Q for pinpointing the problem for me hehe).

car nowdays like moving oven, really needs some heat proofing.

The self-adhesive is using the Dunlop glue, right. Does this need heat-gun?

no need heat gun when using CA glue. its fast to dry. but if u have heat gun, it will speed up the drying process i guess. me, i just apply it and leave it over night.
