well, at least Malaysian gamers are getting a Malaysian PSN store, that should at least provide us with options. Think of it like buying stuff from Sony Wings, a bit pricey but hassle free.

well, please let me lol first...lol!
okay there are 2 sides of a coin in this case. 1. we finally have our own store. So patches, expansions and what not, we can get it here. 2. the price is not expensive dear friends, they are totally ridiculous. PSN check, Sony style Check, Insiane price tag, check,HOME? Malaysian HOME?Anybody tried? |

QUOTE(K-End @ Jun 8 2009, 11:05 PM) if the Video section is up...hopefully can get local content. Datin Wanabe episodes would be an overkill!!Finally can download the full season of Keliwon Oh, would it kill them to include Bio-Nik too? and for some classic treatment, so air gun action from Gerak Khas the series!!! |

QUOTE(nwk @ Jun 13 2009, 12:50 PM) this is malaysia. you expect those uneducated buffons to know anything about marketing? if they did their homework, the ps3 would have launched the same time as singapore and the local psn store would have the ability to use credit cards as payment by now. regarding the credit card thingy, I would say its actually part of our fault. Malaysia is synonymous with credit card fraud. Maybe Sony is playing it safe. |

actually...consumer support comes after an agreeable price. the relationship stands two ways, Sony offering a suitable pricing and Malaysian PS3 owners translate the support into purchases. Yes we are lucky Sony officially supports Malaysia now. I agree there. But they must also play their part by offering us products with suitable price tag.
Why did this happen? I would blame the marketing team. They should have at least compared their price tags with global PSN Store. I am sure Sony are well aware that all of us here are US or SG/HK PSN customers, making us aware of the pricing structure. Then a suitable study should have been conducted. All I am saying is, its a job well done for Sony to acknowledge us, but to be fair, they have to acknowledge our market awareness as well. |

QUOTE(msn83235502 @ Jun 20 2009, 02:54 AM) it's just RM10... I still remember one of my friend, smuggled a Honda disc brake beneath his car to evade tax alone. The estimated tax value of that thing, rm500.compared to bike scene where i've been into, we're paying more than rm40k just for that damn tax. Smuggled from Singapore. If kantoi that time mmg mampos. |
