Switch World 2009 will be from 5 - 7 June 2009, at Centre Concourse Area, Gurney Plaza. Here is a list of highlights that you may expect during the 3-day event:

That 3K promotion in Machines is Macbook White MC240ZP/A model which is 1 generation older than current unibody.

Can someone post some pics to differentiate MC240ZP/A(older model) and MC207ZP/A (current unibody white) ?

juz see the trackpad. the older one has a separate button. the new one, the whole trackpad is a button.

I attended the latest and last gathering for the year by the Malaysian Mac Users Group on Saturday, 19th December 2009 at the old wing of One Utama and thought of sharing the information with the rest of you Mac users out there. Mr.Mok from Antivirus365, the online eStore for Kaspersky in South East Asia gave an interesting insight to the existence of threats which are already affecting many Mac users worldwide.

In his presentation, he spoke about the importance of changing the mindset of Mac users who still believe that they do not face any cyber security threats. He explained the real situation of threats towards the Mac OS with the support of strong graphical evidence. It was definitely an aye-opener and we were fed with information on the harsh reality that the Mac is no longer as safe as it used to be.

He also spoke about the company’s new offering for Mac users, the Kaspersky ®Anti-Virus for MAC before handing out gift bags filled with premium items to the attendees.

The cheeky audience kept bugging him on why Jackie Chan, the brand ambassador for Kaspersky could not make it to the gathering.

Other highlights of the gathering included a presentation on the latest hardware from Apple - remote and Magic Mouse. We were finally treated to a presentation on the 360 VR Panoramas, an effective tool for virtual tours. The entire gathering was an absolute success and we went home with lots of worthwhile information as well as bags of free gifts.

FOund out that epicenter is having another brunch @ Limkokwing.... They called Apple Authorized Campus Store and they claim themselve the largest campus store....

Wow.... MMU Cyberjaya Sapura Mac Campus Store are so small compared to the one in the photo above...

probably it is the largest Campus store in Malaysia...
