Tested my DIY cooler on a Dell Inspiron 1420.

Idle without cooler was 50+

Idle with cooler was 46

The chip is a T5500, with a 8400M GS..

GPU's temp is 68 idle, w/o cooler

with cooler, circa 54

Do u know i had how many cooling pad models?? 6 to 7....trust me dont ever get coolermaster....just isn't worth the money...Get zalman for heavy duty use, or logitech for durability, portable and silent ( 3 years warrranty). If u wan the highest rated then get belkin cooling pad.

If u wan a cooling pad just worth the money then get a cheapplak 3 fans aluminium just for RM 25. Trust me the fan just as windy as zalman and was design by some chinese engineer but not sissy marketers. Here's the link

If your coolermaster work better than this model i chop my d*** into pieces. Try me

I don't know if you work for that brand or what, but one thing I can tell you is that I am very satisfied with my CM cooler.

Yeah, I agree that cooler Master sucks. I spent RM70 and it doesn't help cooling my notebook down even 0.5 degree celcius. What a waste of money. You can hardly feel that the fan is running. Get something else for your laptop.

What model did you buy? If it's the same one as I modded, you might want to consider that as well.

Yeap i agree....there is a bunch of lapsap model offer by coolermaster especially the X1 and A1....I bought X1 last year and it lasted only two months, later did i heard that many Pc shop return the product because of the flaw of this product...then A1, the cooling pad i guess does not cool your laptop...U are require some superstitious to believe that it does

And there u go notepal infinite, it was ok and good cooling pad but wtF?????? Hundred +++???? i got 3 type of cheaplak cooling pad that can cool better than tat infinite...And when u put little eextra money to get zalman, u will f***ing shit off that zalman work so much better than cooler master infinite

Coolermaster notepal = worst value buy!!!

U wan fight over a person owned more than 6 cooling pads and tested 20++ cooling pad?? I prefer you go back do more research

There is too many variable that can determine the cooling effect...The design, the fan speed, the position of vent, the material used, the momentum of circulation and so much more....ANd each of the factor contribute nearly equally in coolling your laptop....But why??? How come???Shouldn't there be a factor that can stand up on top of others factorS????  Because cooling pad doesn't cool much your laptop....It only matter when u on 24/7

Have you seen my Notepal? It was utter crap initially, but after some brainstorming and sawing, I saved myself RM89 from buying an Infinite.

is there any cooler that sucks from the bottom, then blows to the back of the cooler?
*
There are, but temperatures won't be lower. IMO. Simply because with a sucking down cooler, you're creating a vacuum, and heat may build up.

I wanna buy a Zalman NC2000 too tongue.gif But SXPS 16 vent isn't located at the ventilation holes there-much further away sad.gif

Why not settle for one that has a centralized cooling?

IINM, the Infinite's fan size has increased.

I think Zalman is much more better. I try the smaller version of zalman from my friend and it seem it is far better than my infinite. I think communist is right sad.gif

Maybe, just maybe, the Infinite isn't quite of a universal cooler.
