Hmmm, the Blizzard downloader works for me, if not mistaken where i read somewhere it purposely download slowly so that it forces everyone to contribute, rather than those with high speed connection gets it fast then close the DLer for good.

If you take some time to watch and think carefully, those are protoss statues in the shape of zealots(due to protoss value the way of the warrior etc), probably an automated defense system for the artifact, uh so where is the weird part?

Well no details on how the pseudo LAN will work, but if not mistaken the current Bnet allows you to finish your online game with somebody rather than stop the game mid match even when you get disconnected to Bnet, right?
