i guess i'm too noob, when i use teran vs AI protoss, they always spam carrier to me then i lose
even though i use thor and battlecruiser as def i failed
when terran VS terran even worst, sweep me like nothing only
terran vs zerg is the easiest for me.
i dont know how to play zerg, but when i play protoss, i can easily bring down zerg, protoss and terran, dont know why.
I am probably not qualified to give advice though if on a game which pits against players who have master their race such as terran they will definitely will not wait to reach their last tech which consist of churning out heavy units such as battle cruiser most of the time they will attack when they have already reach the build they are planning to do such as siege tanks , valkyrie and other fast moving units . Don't give the chance for the enemy to attack you, you got to take the initiative and lock him or her down . I understand going against protoss is hard because of their alien tech shield and amazing unit but every unit has it's disadvantage but don't give up on the terrans they are arm to the teeth and good at attacking just you need to to be more familiar with your unit abilities for example ghost can lock carriers try experimenting your unit's attack and then implementing strategy against your enemies . Knowing your unit's advantage and disadvantage is the key for your winning to chances increase in the game or to prolong your survival in star craft .
I have the idea of what is suppose to do though when I start playing I get so focus to only building and lose out on the strategic wars although that is my problem ^^. The pro's they are able to play long term and short term and change the pace of the game at their will they are truly masters of their own game . Happy playing starcraft 2 .

1. You whine about getting rushed
When playing an RTS game online, do you often find that your opponent manages to curb stomp your base before you’re able to set up any defenses or build an army of your own? Do you feel it’s unfair that you didn’t have a chance to make your base neat and organized or eat your bacon butter cake frosting Hot Pocket? If yes, chances are you were dropped on your face as a baby and it has caused permanent trauma to your cerebral cortex. Why this makes you a noob In case it wasn’t clear when you bought the game, you’re playing a real time strategy title. That means doing things before your opponent has a chance to do other things is part of the game. In fact, it’s not just part of the game, it’s the entire point of it. You’re supposed to do things faster than your opponent, and if that means building an army and attacking right away, so be it. Complaining about getting rushed in a real time strategy game is like complaining that the tuna sandwich you ordered has tuna in it.
IPB Image
"Who put this %^&@* tuna in my tuna sandwich?" What good players do Rather than complaining about rushing and getting so mad that they rupture their family jewels, normal players simply assume that if they lost early on in the game that something was wrong with their build order and/or strategy. The next time they play, they’ll try something different to see if it works better. 2. You wonder why you can’t win by camping all game long
Ah the good old camp and wait strategy. Turtle up in your base and rely on defenses to do all the fighting while you wait for your opponent to…..run out of units? What could possibly go wrong with such a brilliant idea!? Why this makes you a noob For starters, if you invest money into defenses, then you can’t use them to fight for extra resources on the map. Eventually you’ll just run out of money. Secondly, the instant your opponent sees you camping, he’s going to either tech straight to siege weapons or he’s going to expand his economy and overwhelm your defenses with more units than they can handle. Either way you might as well be in the middle of a threesome with Michael Moore’s chins.
IPB Image
If you don't expand, this is where you belong. What good players do Good players are greedy; they want as much money as possible and they know the way to get it is to take over expansion points on the map. Since camping up around every resource point you control with defenses isn’t as efficient or cheap as building an army you can move back and forth between them, good players choose to invest in units rather than static firepower. What’s more is once they’re done playing goalie, they can use their army to rape and pillage. Have you ever seen a defense tower rape and pillage anything? We didn’t think so. 3. You think micromanagement is just click spam
Clearly since the genre is called real time strategy it should be purely about thinking and strategy and have nothing to do with any actual control over the elements of the game. At least, that’s the mentality of people who don’t like to do the playing part of playing a game. Why this makes you a noob The first problem is thinking that micromanagement is just click spam – it’s not. Micromanagement is actually all about issuing lots of precise orders to units in order to maximize their effectiveness (why in Jesus would you NOT want to maximize the effectiveness of your units?). It’s about adapting as the situation changes, and anticipating what your opponent is doing. As it turns out, the brain has to do something amazing in order to accomplish this: it has to think. The amount of decision making and work the brain does when micromanaging intensely as compared to making purely strategic-level decisions is akin to Niagara Falls vs. a garden hose.
IPB Image
A scientifically accurate depiction of how much thinking micro requires (left), vs how much thinking is required without micro (right) What good players do Good players instinctively like keeping their units alive. Why stop at killing one unit when you can invest a tiny bit of effort to keep your own unit alive long enough to kill something else? Since micromanagement techniques take practice, good players figure out ways to make their units more efficient killing machines (and believe us, they come up with some crazy awesome shit).
Here is micro and macro.
Then what about ppl cho chooing wiv their gf is that micro or macro?

Although with an integrated graphic card I was able to play the beta but with the all the graphics tone down but still playable . So to those of you who were put off by the amazing graphics and having thoughts of not buying sc2 because of the high requirement the amazing thing is this game is still playable on a low end laptop .
What he means is Duskbin e sport website is a place for healthy discussion or a platform to cater for our SC2 needs so if you are a malaysian who visits their website then their goal has accomplish and you get to know new stuff about sc2.
I only can tell you that most of the malaysian starcraft players only knows how to contain themselves in the base until they get 200 units and cheese you out -.- well that's what i see from the players in 5-6 cyber cafes -.-
Come to G A R E N A malaysian starcraft room and go against our very own NaDa or M1 players lets see if they camp till 200 units .

Lol you sounds like your against me, i just saying from what i see from a few famous cyber cafes i been to, i never say malaysia player are noob or wat.
Only high Templar wut. What i mean is I would have cannon rushed or bunker rushed b4 they have any chances of turteing in.
Proxy for the win can see people now building pylons in front of people bases and release the litany of photon cannons upon unhappy people. Besides that overall starcraft 2 looks pretty good in terms of graphics , game play but one thing still irritates me the most is the level of music in sc2 seems pretty not up to the par of the old starcraft . The music of the game and unit sounds do make and brake the game . Well that is my take of starcraft 2 I know it is pretty early to drop the hammer upon this game but what the **** has happen to my "dont mess with me " voice of the ghost from the original .

I miss zealot's attack sound, sounds so powerful + energized
Yeah they sound much more epic in star craft 1 compared to starcraft 2 some how the units all sound retarded this time . Battle cruiser is now drunk, Thor sounds like arnold , Medivac is a psycho medic ,Ghost is a sadist and the SCV with his what ever quote makes me quite furious and angry .
Zealot Starcraft 1
Zealot Starcraft 2
Conclusion is blizzard getting lazy with the sound production due to lack of creativity or more to creating a game that focus on graphics and gameplay only and not be entertaining . What do you know there is a thread of teamliquid site on how to make your sc2 SOUND MAJESTIC and kick ass link : http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessag...topic_id=117317 . Suggested for those who hate the new unit voice .

Well SC is more macro, War3 is more micro. Cos of the hero mainly.
I beg to differ starcraft has the combination of macro and micro and War3 or Dota ? if dota it is solely is on micro . What ? starcraft is macro only so I have to just keep building and wait for my opponent to attack ????
I hope they wont make a dota-like game for SC2.. stop killing the game..
just got my beta invite.. hvn't got the time to download
The question is if they did they change the game mechanics to our favourite DOTA . I can guaranty all sc1 players will be very unhappy and be assured that their sales will be going down the drain.
