I think everyone who love this game would ultimately buy the originals.
That's no doubt about that.
Up to date patches with support, able to play freely in battle.net are among the reasons for going for originals.
To me, SC2 is like a making of an "uber" game.
What so ever excuses some people would give to defend about the dismissal of the LAN function,
the LAN option had always been an excellent component for the development in SC legacy.
It would somehow be a dissapointment to see its absence the coming SC2.

Look at the bright side, at least they don't announce it on 31st Dec 2009 that SC2 won't be available for the year 2009.
Anyway, a bad news is a bad news.
Try L4D and anticipate for L4D2 this november instead.

Just a suggestion that we should abstain ourselves from this topic &
avoid ourselves the agony of waiting for it to be released (tentative Q2 2010, who knows might be 2011 perhaps).
