Use the StarCraft II.exe to launch the game. The game will automatically patch.

I think you can just patch it by just double clicking at the patch? Just like the one you did in WoW.
Or paste all the patch you got into the starcraft 2 folder and run them 1 by 1 accordingly.

Guys for manual patching,

Steps:
1 - Open up your SC2 installation directory - C:\Program Files\StarCraft II Beta
2 - Start SC2 - the game will start patching through blizzard
3 - You will notice that it will create a file for the patch in your installation directory, wait for an "updates" folder to be created
4 - Once created, you can close your patcher
5 - Extract all your patch files to the updates folder
6 - Start SC2 again & it will patch instantly.

Hmm. Not sure if its working now or not. I thought it would as I patch mine manually all the time until the current patch 10.

You mention the patch file details always change, are you referring to the random order of the patches? because if you patch from the 1st to the 10th patch, it will not go in order from the 1st, 2nd ,3rd and stuffs. There are jumping in patches before the others. Note that you still need an internet connection to initialize all the patches one after another.

man after playing some 60+ games and a whole TON of awful ones be it from myself or my allies (namely my allies /shrug)

i got booted from plat > gold till recently all the way to silver lol. havent been match making in the silvers yet, but gold is fairly easy so long you dont get allies that are either messed up in the head or just plain noob. plat on the other hand is challenging as hell and it only took blizz like around 20 games to give me the boot to gold.

oh well, shows how scrubby ive been since my RTS inactivity be it war3 or sc1 (hahaohdesire.jpg)

btw, some plannings ahead:
i am looking for a 2v2 partner once release is out. nothing hardcore, but still remaining dedicated and serious. considering im a working person myself, games should either be at nights or weekends mainly. will be doing ventrilo (i have a server) and we can even have cybercafe sessions depending on how close our distance (or the cc) is.

lol got mic for vent ok ady, me being kicked to silver league, which proves that im not much difference than a normal player also. imo only gold/plat are the good players. and if you can maintain gold/plat after at least 30 games of 2v2, id really respect you, because ive been through that path myself and i know how some really bad allies can ruin your day. that said, thats no excuse to lose a game, if you're really good, 1v2 your opponents. (ive done a couple myself, although very apparently, not f***ing enough)

got review your replays? im on avg 60+ APM and during combat it peaks out at 140ish

if ur at least that then i think you're pretty fine ^^;
