Hey people, i have been considering to get the Waja CPS for quite sometime now. But the thing is whether is now the correct timing to get a car? I'm in fact not in a hurry to get a car but i a bit kiasu to loose out on the current RM3k discount. Do you reckon that the car price will reduce next year, like say maybe after CNY or is there any possibility that the car interest rate may increase or decrease in the months to come? My dad says to wait till next year after CNY as more agents are willing cut their commission to get sales due to the current economy condition but i disagree with him. And he says that since its we are already almost in the middle of the year now, why not wait till next year after CNY to get the 2010 batch? I reckon that at that time, they will be selling the old 2009 leftovers to usher in the new rumoured Perdana/Waja replacement!! What do you guys think? To buy now or to buy later?

Thanks for the feedback. In fact I do need to change a car cause my current proton is already 14 years old and has given me a good load of headaches. So the matter now is the timing that I am unsure of. I have tried scouting around the internet for some useful info about the car industry but I still can't come to a firm conclusion. If you guys were in my shoes, what will your decision be like? To wait and take the risk that Proton will have further discount offered or to just take the current offer of the RM3k. Btw, are we able to further negotiate with the SA for further discount on top of the RM3k discount?

P/S: As to-date, I already have set aside and prepared to pay for a down payment. For the balance of the payment, I will take up a loan.

Hey guys. Just a quick question. I have recently booked the waja cps and i was thinking to tint the windows. As i know from my SA, the car is already tinited? Some UV protection i think. Is this true? If this is true, will i still be able to put on another layer of v-kool and security film without voiding the warranty of the existing and the new tinits?

Does anyone knows whether Proton is currently "temporary" halting production of the Waja CPS Bronze Garnet colour. I've placed an order for it in early August but till now my SA told me that Proton is not spraying that colour! Is anyone experiencing the same problem with me or am I duped by my SA cause he whenever I call him to enquire about the availability, he consistently told me to just get the Silver colour instead. I feel like he is saying so cause he wants to clear of his on-hand stock. Just a feeling though!

Nope. I've thought of calling Proton directly to enquire. Hopefully I'll get some feedback from them.

I only placed the booking fee with him in early August already. Luckily never give him any deposit...sigh....looks like I need to bug him more...but scare later he gimme the car which got problem one....sigh!!
