QUOTE(R.Y.D.E.C.K @ Oct 5 2009, 03:05 PM) im counting hahaha....VerM lead the way we will discuss this further... soon... for those who will be joining the trip, its not mandatory to do a 1-day trip. You can overnight there. No restrictions. I myself will not be able to spend overnight due to family reasons (my wife is due mid november). Plus I will bring along a second driver.but they`r planning for a day trip... QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Oct 5 2009, 04:00 PM) Hot chicks anyone?QUOTE(momocow @ Oct 5 2009, 10:42 PM) Really......sigh.....thanks for ur info...will put some pressure on my SA with that reason It doesn't matter if you place a deposit. So long as you have the official receipt you can always check directly with Proton on the status of your car. Proton actually intended to have a realtime monitoring for each placed order at Tanjung Malim production factory. I wonder what happened with the plan. I only placed the booking fee with him in early August already. Luckily never give him any deposit...sigh....looks like I need to bug him more...but scare later he gimme the car which got problem one....sigh!! Always remember NOT TO GIVE CASH as deposit. Use bank draft payable to the Proton Edar (or EON). A number of people has been cheated by SA that insist on cash deposit. Ok this is something I wanted to share.... On Sunday, I went to Sepang and driven my car on the race track. Not the whole track, only the South track (North track is having a race). It was fun and exhilarating. From the experience I now understand the current limits of my car and what I have in mind to improve the car in future (that is if I want to try again the track). The event that I took part is called High Performance Challenge (HPC) and it cost RM250 for half day (3 sessions) and RM480 for full day event (another 3 sessions in the afternoon). Each session lasted about 20-25 minutes. My participation was paid by Jobstreet as a prize for the A1GP online simulation contest me and brother took part earlier this year. We were also given a 3-lap taxi ride in a race prepared car (MME Team Celica). Participants is group into 3 categories, Group 1 for beginner (1st time on track) and will be driving with an instructor throughout all the sessions. Passing is limited to straights only. Group 2 is also have the same limitation only they can drive without an instructor. Group 3 have open passing priviledge. Moving up the ladder will require track experience and also recommendation from instructors. HPC is open to all Malaysian possessing valid driving license with standard or modified cars, manual or auto transmission. My car is an AT. So no issues about what type of transmission you have. But if your's is an AT, I'd suggest improving your car's pickup. Since my car is standard (only rim and tyres upgraded), Turn 9 (Sepang Main Track) is a complete letdown because after heavy under braking, getting uphill to Turn 10 can be very frustrating. How fast did my CPS managed to clock? Well, I only managed 140km/h on the straight between Turn 14 and 15. My instructor told me not to speed up to much on straight to allow more track space for my cornering. Interestingly, he told me if I do a proper braking and follows the right racing line, I should be able to catch up with the cars that passes me (RX8, Evo, etc...). And he was correct. The HPC event is scheduled every 2 months (6 times total per annum subjected to track availability). So I'm inviting you guys to participate together in their next event. This can be our get together session. Please add another RM25 per pax if you guys want to have lunch there or we can go lunch elsewhere. For more information please go to High Performance Challenge This post has been edited by VerM: Oct 6 2009, 02:47 AM |

QUOTE(coz4u @ Oct 15 2009, 11:56 PM) it happens when you switch-off the ignition too quick after a hard drive. let the engine idle for few minutes before switching off. or if you have extra cash get yourself a timer (turbo timer) that will keep the engine idle for a while even after you remove the key... |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Oct 21 2009, 08:29 AM) Read back previous post n u will understand the jokes.. spirote... will the ordinary mechanics know how to adjust it? Or it is a specialty products? Using camber kit, no need to use the camber nut, and from what i read, it is more durable and require less often adjustment than camber nut. |
