ah kui is 1000x better then them. "Test first" before pay........remember? hehe

OEM = high restriction, Straight Flow = No restriction, S-flow = mild restriction (could be better in low end since the piping is 2")
I personally feel the 2" piping is quite huge for CPS but in standard setting with Cat-con we can't feel it. But after remove cat con there is the problem starthmm.gif ....so i would like to hear comment from those who use both muffler.
*
can elaborate more ka the bold one hmm.gif
what problem meh blink.gif ..interested in remove cat con

hi guys,

thx very much for the reply. wut is the tyre spec for gen-2 r3? some say 195 some say 205. im a bit confuse here.

anyway i sold the standard rims and tyres for rm900. issit a good price?

now using toyo tire with taiwan advan rs...but i think my car look a bit weird with the tire n rims...lowered is the only way to make it looks good again i think.

im thinking of getting 45 series...hurmmm

anyway the tire damn syiok ler...so thick and nice thread design. hehe.
*
mind to state where did you trade-in your standard wheels.. drool.gif

change spring arr brows.gif  ....4 me, the stock spring with the stock tyre n rim is like a boat!but once change the rim especially 17"..i can ensure u that the cornering is on grip...can feel tht "lotus" technology.. laugh.gif...just order carbon sticker...wan to diy some part n cover with it.... whistling.gif

for past few days...hav chances try Sustec spring...R3 spring n Proride spring...3 diff. car....

result :

sustec spring is soft but selambe slash corner at parliament(the famous parliament corner)which is thumbup.gif ...
R3 is stiff but during corner is superd to thumbup.gif but this owner say after install R3 his car came out all weird sound sweat.gif  ...
just tht me notice proride giv tht horseriding (not tht obvious sweat.gif but annoyin) during slow move@traffic light n town road...but this proride osso stable at corner...

my personal rate:
1. Sustec      8/10
2. R3            8/10
3. Proride      5/10...this is base on comfortness aspec cool2.gif
*
btw, did all the spring tested above use stock absorber? hmm.gif
is that tru that the lifespan of stock dampers reduce if use with sport spring..how bout our stock kyb dampers hmm.gif
how bout GAB spring..any comment?

laugh.gif yes...the sustec(new abs) & proride(1year abs oledi) car use stock abs.. onli the R3 use sport abs..buy halfcut...sustec is super comfort n good as lowered spring...wut make me wonder is...most ppl claim R3 is from proride..just rebrand..but i can feel the diff. between tht spring..is much...R3 slightly better i think..myb just a feeling coz i know its R3  hmm.gif ...

i did not ask bout  damper they use..my opinion..damper is morelike, every 50k or 80k...need to buy new 1..like abs too...its just when u use lowered spring..the lifespan myb less compared the stock spring...

*
i think you have misunderstand bout dampers and absorber..its actually same i think tongue.gif

i tot all gen2 comes v new starter? (new very nice startup sound.. smile.gif)
Btw, how is CPS FC compare to IAFM? (Considering Gen2 IAFM & CPS).. Does CPS worth more than IAFM?
*
of coz IAFM g2 better..coz my fren IAFM persona MT FC better than mine so i think g2 IAFM much better since its lighter body tongue.gif
anyway, how to extract more 15 hp w/o sacrificing FC..need more fuel n air during high lift on cps icon_idea.gif
i've driven my fren IAFM persona, i think IAFM engine not as LIVELY as cps engine..
the IAFM engine is not quick rev as cps nod.gif
even my persona fren say 'aku rasa mcm nak tolak kete aku dlm lonkang lps bawak kete ko' tongue.gif after he drive my car
dont know how to describe its total different engine characteristic..
revving with cps like drug addicted tongue.gif
one more thing..FC IAFM better because it has lower final drive than cps IMO nod.gif

Icic.. The CPS only kicks in 3.5K RPM??
Is Gen2 going to obsolete? Read from news, there will be Proton NGV & Hybrid, but not cover Gen2... sweat.gif
Is it a good buy? So far any issue with the new Gen2 CPS?  The Persona knocking engine sound not appear in Gen2 right? The dashboard from Persona can fit nicely??  laugh.gif
Still considering between IAFM & CPS & waiting best time to action.. smile.gif
*
last month my housemate just bought g2 cps AT nanbu black rclxms.gif
1 SA told me that no more g2 IAFM been produced...any info guys? hmm.gif
there no more options oledi...just straight get g2 cps bro brows.gif
and no more Iridescent white color option..they replace with silver (my niece just bought 2 weeks ago) icon_idea.gif
i think my I white color became rare oledi hehe tongue.gif

guys... for the Campro engine's CPS system.. is the air intake variable infinite? or is it like VTECH where there's only 2 settings... smile.gif
*
it use like vtec with three stages air fuel module... nod.gif
two stages of valve lift and two stages of air intake module (Variable Intake Manifold VIM) overlaping each other give three stages air intake setting..
0 - 3800 rpm = low valve lift + long runner VIM
3800 - 4800 rpm = high valve lift + long runner VIM
4800 - 7000 rpm = high valve lift + short runner VIM
cps use same technology as variocam for porsche a.k.a variable tappet technology.. tongue.gif

special case for neo cps activate the high lift at 4400 rpm..

correct me if i'm wrong hehe tongue.gif

sos tomato
