if i'm not mistaken, samsung having promotion for this phone,
only rm999... if so, then a real good deal for it's features

promo ends on 31st may 09. not sure whether fmg extend the promo or not.

And yes, for 999, damn cheap for the specs. The Toshiba G810 I think, GPS and 200MHz proc also at that price, no wifi, and just EDGE...

Being using this since last April, very satisfiy with the performance.
now installing SPB mobil shell 3 and running flawlessly.
The battery can last a day with heavy use. I exchange both battery frequently, till now still very good battery life. It cost RM127 for a new original one.
It is so slim to keep in the pocket.
The camera a bit slow, and the video catching is 320x240 at 20fps, so so only. My sisiter owns a Omnia, the video and camera funstion is much more functioning.
The promotion still on yesterday when I visit Samsung Dealer in Mahkota Parade Melaka. Only it doesn't come with screen protector and SDHC card.
Runs very smooth on coreplayer.
I was spoilt by the qwerty keypad and it perfect the WM6.1 experience, going to get another for my private phone line.

how long to lock d satelite?
since my n95 take around 10-15 minutes to lock d satelite signal!!erkhh

with the help of a build in software called "Enhanced GPS", when u activate example Garmin it will connect to GPRS or 3G to get the latest position, then u will get lock on to GPS i guess the longest time is 3 minutes.
It only cost I guess about RM0.20 to download the info through mobile carrier.
there after it will lock on within 1 minute.

Just bought a silicon white casing for RM9.00, being looking for so long time.

Being using it since Dec 08.. it was RM1.4k.. now 999 only

to me.. the battery drain quite fast.. maybe i felt that way because my previous phones is just a phone.. but this has most of the features which give it the best value.. and the windows mobile speed is good.. quiet satisfied with it.. and got cooked rom if get bored with existing rom.... but the latest spb mobile shell is quite nice.. used it to read emails.. GPS.. watch youtube.. browse the internet...

being using garmin for GPS... turn on the enhanced GPS.. most of the time fast locking but sometime need to wait a bit..

having a square screen.. most games not compatible.. and also probably not the one if looking for taking pictures..

overall satisfied..

Just update at home to version PDXIB1.
It doesn't work quite well with Garmin xt version 5.00.10wp. every since the phone goes to sleep by itself( I set it off after 1 minute), when I turn on the PDA again , error code comes out and the garmin software stall, it shows a error code i don't understand.
Never have this problem in previous PA version.
Solution I turn off the error report setting, waiat for a while a retstart the Garmin and it is ok, quite annoying.
I trade in my old i780 at RM550 and bought a new one at RM 999, reason is I cannot find a slim PDA qwerty keyboard with touch screen in the market now, and the battery is not so durable, in spite of buy ing 2 new batteries at RM127 each, i top up RM449 to get a new PDA + 2 new batteries.
