So is it confirmed that the lag is by the server and not Streamyx? Because I REALLY, REALLY and did I mention REALLY wanna play this game but if there's gonna be lag then I'm not even gonna bother. I'll be pre-ordering the set which will cost me quite a bit so yeah. Any info would be great!

I don't think you're able to share the CD keys, are you? Unless you're talking about sharing an account? Because afaik, CD keys are sorta soulbound to an account.

yeah, that sounds like a plan man. I would do the same but I would prefer to go all the way (buy the whole thing and then regret later. jk) than to buy the key, then have to buy the CD later. that's why I'm getting feedback at the moment. I've already made the order, so gonna bank in the moolah tomorrow. if there's anything that I should know about before making this decision, let me know!

Got a question here. How's the latency in the US as compared to the EU server? I'm in a dilemma now. Don't know whether to get US or EU. Might have to end up getting ES. :S

I am kinda having some at the moment, but I think I need a client update. I'll let you know after this.

Edit: Still having gameguard issues. Gonna search up a fix now. If I find anything, I'll let you know.

Edit again: Ah, my UAC has already been disabled. There's a little software that fixes GG errors, so I'll try that out. I'll post my results in a bit.

Okay, that software doesn't work. I'm currently clueless as to why GG errors keep appearing. Anyone had some and fixed them?

My current situation is this:

I installed the CB client (1.0), patched it up to 1.5.0.1 with the CBT to OBT download (3g) and I've now patched it up to 1.5.0.3 with the Aion launcher. Did my checksums and everything. Everything seems to be good.

I get GG errors whenever I start the game w/ the launcher and a page about GG pops up. I've tried a software which got me into the server selection screen but when I click on a server, nothing happens and I'm not even allowed to click anything else (but the bg is still moving, etc.)

If anyone knows a fix, let me know!

Also, running on Windows Vista x64 Ultimate. Installing a fresh copy of XP on my another partition. Desperate here!

yep, I tried that. didn't work either. I'm still looking for a fix so if you have any ideas, do let me know.

a lot of people seem to be having GG errors tonight. probably something to do with the GG server? this game has srsly caused me a lot of trouble. first I had to get the stupid beta keys this afternoon, got home all excited to play and this happens. and then I tried installing windows XP because I thought maybe it was an OS problem but windows XP just messed with my Vista installation, so I had to reformat the thing and install Windows 7. now I'm on Windows 7 and it says I have to have the latest DirectX to run. lame, lame, LAME!

but I'll try it out and let you guys know how it goes.

edit: okay, so it didn't work. now I'm starting to wonder if it's a client problem that I'm having. if anyone has a full version of Aion's OBT, would you mind passing it to me? it would be greatly appreciated.

So the game is working fine for you right now and you're able to play? I keep getting the GG error 150. LAME! I just wish they'd come up for a fix for this soon. I paid good money for those keys! And the pre-order!

Hmm. Weird. Did you download the FULL client or did you patch it up from CB client?

Any kind soul willing to give me a copy of their client? I'm downloading one now but there's a possibility it might fail on me.

Nope, there is a region lock. Even the keys are seperated to US and EU. I bought one so I know.
