GameGuard-Patch 09/09/2009

Today at around 08:00 p.m. PDT, 10:00 p.m. CDT, 04:00 a.m. BST (World times) we will be pushing out a patch that will fix a few issues regarding GameGuard. This should not affect those of you in the game but if it does please just log out and run the launcher to get the latest gameguard files. The patch should be quite small. It will take you to 1.5.0.4.

Notes are as follows.

- Updated webpage that appears when an error is recieved, it should now direct you to http://www.aiononline.com/gameguard/

- While in the game the client should no longer disconnect users upon a Gameguard detection, and will instead pop up a window notifying the player.

We understand this is not all of the current issues but we are working on resolving them. Expect more updates to come.

Maintenance NA servers 4:00 a.m. PST 11/09/2009

All North American (NA) worlds will be brought down for hardware-related maintenance Friday morning (11th) starting at 4:00 a.m. PST (Other Timezones).

While our total maintenance work may span as long as until 5 p.m., we are hoping to have each individual server offline for no longer than roughly an hour. The servers will be processed one at the time and will then each be brought back up as quickly as possible.

The best ping i get is 29x+ with proxy =) thou sometimes it spike up to 6xx, but overally quite smooth

Aion's release is right around the corner, and our anticipation is running high! The beards and hairstyles of the character creator are groomed and lined up, jostling against each other in eagerness to be picked for your characters in this coming weekend's Preselection and Head Start Programs.

Preselection is a benefit available to anyone who preordered Aion. If you are not sure whether or not you are eligible, simply log in to your NCsoft Master Account to verify that your game account is listed and your account type is not designated as "Beta".

Starting 12:00 p.m. PDT (more) on September 18, 2009, eligible players will be able to start their game clients and log in to create a total of two characters ahead of everyone else. You can name and create these two characters through the standard character creator and be ready to play with these characters right when the game Head Start Program begins (but not beforehand). Preselection will end 9:00 a.m. PDT on September 20, 2009 (more).

Don't miss this great opportunity to claim your character's name before anyone else does. It isn't too late to preorder, even if you have been holding out.
