i bought pantech this morning. hope it can goes up....

When the oil price surge USD90 per barrel, you would expect all Oil & Gas counters to follow suite.

About 5 times compared with industry average of 11.2

Oil & Gas counters with respective PE ratio

means got potential to go up high is it?

Pantech is not the lowest PE among oil & gas stocks...
The PE for Deleum is only 5.++, it has potential to up to RM3

that is because Pantech has shot up.
anyway still the 2nd lowest. no bad, deleum can go up RM3, like tat pantech is RM1.50 liao...

aiseh!! still unable to passed through $0.91

Is a matter of time to reach > RM1.00.
Just like KNM.

At current level of 90sen, is a gem.
Load up.

With oil price hit new high, i raise my target price to RM1.10 for Pantech.
Did you see how undervalue is this counter comparing with othes oil&gas counters which already
went up so much. This is still very much laggard behind. At this price is a GEM.

No, please remember high oil price does not mean the company will earn as O&G Company won't wanan pay high price entering/securing a contract at high crude oil price.

market downturn, oil retreated, USD up...more profit taking set in.
personally, anything below 78sen should be good buy.

Yes, RM1 is definately not a problem if keeping for a bit longer. (I would say within 6 months time. see how it turn out)

I think need not to wait for 6 months to hit RM1 if oil price float above usd70.

But if you are looking at the TA of KLCI, seems bearish is near... What's your opinion?

totally different way if compare to KNm.....pantech up & KNM keep sliding down!!

Pantech and SEALINK business are different. Pantech supplies PFF products to a broad range of industries. SEALINK builds and operates offshore marine support vessels for the O&G industry only.

This is interesting share. Please watch up....

The stock run up when they got approval to sell to Europe.
Since then, Europe's been talking about austerity measures, plus the Euro has devalued so much.

So, your conclusion is not to buy this share?

I'm not saying don't buy. Just have to beware of the risks.

I holding this for some time... Thinking that should I sell off or not.

used to have knm from early 09 only recently sold to realised the profit..... i think is same as pantech gua since both biz is quite similar ....... have been resilient quite some time..... hope both can surge loh.

Yesterday just announced Bonus Issue distribution. 5:1
Besides that, ordinary share:ICULS=2:1 with RM0.1 substitutional price each.
And also, 10 ICULS tie with 1 free warrant.

Just have doubt on 7% Irredeemable ICULS. Is that mean I can get 7% interest if I subscribe those loan stock till the day I convert the loan stock to mother share?

Anyone could advice in this case?

lets say i have 10 lot of Pantech at current price 0.93. i will get to buy 5 lot right issue at price 0.1 each.
after the right issue, i will have 15 lot of Pantech with average at 0.6533.
so far, am i correct?
what are the expected / estimated price of Pantech after the right issue?



there are 3 actions can be taken in right issue.
1) buy the new share (do i need to inform my Remisier to buy or there is an option to do it?)
2) ignore it (what will happen to my holding of 10 lot after the right issue?)
3) sell (no question on this)

You will have 2 lot bonus issue.
You will have 20lot(maximum, optional to subscribe) loan stock with 0.1 each.The loan stock will give you 7% interest annually last for 7 years.
You may convert to mother share with 6:1.

With 10 loan stock free 1 detachable warrant share.

My View:-

- Fair value/Market Timing
- EY%: Buy below 0.64, sell above 1.18
- As of FY14 Q3, PANTECH recorded cumulative revenue 447,178 which is 30% lower than FY13 revenue 635,663. I think the next two quarters could be quiet for the trading division given that the fabrication and downstream oil and gas projects in Malaysia are still sluggish. PANTECH is still contesting the US anti-dumping suit in its stainless steel division. A resolution is expected by July-14. As mentioned previously, PANTECH’s alternative strategy is to shift production to higher-end stainless steel fittings production (which is not subject to such anti-dumping laws and have higher margins than stainless steel pipes); and is actively exploring other potential export markets such as South America and Europe.
- PANTECH envisages better fortune from 2Q15 onwards, which would coincide with our view that fabrication contracts will likely only materialize from 2QCY14 onwards.
