This morning I was just walking by and heard a real estate agent telling a couple that in a apartment complex, that empty units there are usually occupied by a new tenant as soon as the last one leaves, so they better decide soon. shocking.gif They went inside the unit before I could say anything.

However... in reality, I know for a fact that - that unit has been empty for more than 1 year, and another unit on the same floor has been empty for almost 2 years, and another unit below that is up for auction...... shakehead.gif

Same with electronics and used cars - a lot of sales people are BULLLSHITTERS.

What would you have done? Would you straight off blurt out to the couple that the agent is lying through her teeth? Or leave the couple to their own fate?

Really pity the couple though if they get conned into paying higher rent based on untrue impressions. They seem to be nice trusting people. I wouldn't want something like that to happen to me, since sometimes you can't really do all the "homework" easily.

Never fully trust the agents. If smart, do research like comin to this forum and ask for opinion before committing

Ya,Never fully trust people or agent, do more homework and survey yourself before commit anythings especially when dealing with property.

If i encounter the situation like TS, i will find a chance if i can meet the couple and tell them the fact. Maybe when the couple goin down or walking out, just do that behind the agent. I wouldn't do that in front of the agent. Cause i don't hope anythings happen to my house or family, as the agent know where i live. >.<
