as long as nendo not bundle with anime dvd(like need to get all dvd and then only can get the nendo), it wont reach 1k for the cost to get it...even the comptiq konata and kagami oso not exp like this..

I'm pretty sure most asks us about the event date. Due to the current world economy recession, we're playing safe by delaying the event further so that we have more time to approach sponsors and organize more fund-raising events ( yes, we do fund-raising events. EMiNA is a poor club ya know. Lol ). We tried our best to avoid having the same date with CosFest and fasting month. Look at the bright side, you have more time to prepare that killer costume or watever you're planning on . Anyway, we're really sorry about date if it upsets you T_T.

Don't worry, we are just trying to stick with our "we don't organize sucky event" committee motto. With more time, we'll be able to organize the event better than before .

Please don't kill us T_T

Yes, we realize that our event was too big to be held in the same exam hall ( what can we say? free venue is very... tempting ~ ) This time, say goodbye to "overcrowdedness", "lack-of-oxygen", "i-can't-feel-the-aircond" and "I-CAN'T-MOVE!!" as we will organize this event in a bigger hall. Don't worry, we know you cosplayers hate shopping complexes XD.

With bigger hall, we'll be able to cater our growing crowd. More space for everything too ( and we can finally fit in moar art/doujin booths. ).

Dance Madness Fest

Due to popular demand, we are proud to announce our latest Stage Entertainment agenda: Dance Madness Fest.

Our special volunteers will start the dance session on the stage while we will turn the entire floor into a dance floor on second day ( between S&M cosplay competition and result announcement ). Everyone's invited into this madness.

The dance are as follows in order:

Venue Update

In the spirit of keeping the event free to encourage the participation of non-ACG goers to GACC, the GACC Committee has decided to keep the event in the same venue as the previous events.

Exam Hall + Extension Library, Multimedia University Melaka Campus.

We are holding strong to our tradition not to charge anyone to fulfill their curiosity of the happenings inside the hall, while also giving everyone the freedom to come and go as they please without security checks.

For GACC2009, the Extension Library ( building connected next to Exam Hall ) will be available as it was back in GACC2006.

Although currently it's confirmed to be in the Exam Hall, the GACC Committee are still looking for suitable alternate venue that could perfectly host GACC2009 and it's Chibi Matsuri event.

Taiko no Tatsujin Competition

Yes, you read that right. The hot rumor ever since GACC2008 came to live. GACC2009 is proud to announce the first Taiko no Tatsujin competition in any ACG events in Malaysia. Yeap, we will be bring the Taiko machine to our venue just for this special occasion!

Touhou: Scarlet Weather Rhapsody Tournament

For fun sake, we are introducing a 2nd Doujin Game tournament - Touhou: Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. A versus fighting spin-off of the popular Touhou Project series. Oh, it's soo going to be fun watching you guys at this. >:D

New Doujin Booth Concept

This year we are implementing an experimental concept for doujin booth. Instead of renting out booth, we are renting out spaces.

This will increase the space efficiency of the limited space in the hall and at the same time increase the number of doujin circle participation. Hopefully this method will encourage collaborations between doujin circles.

However, due to the limited space, we are implementing strict approval and not implementing "first come first serve basis". Approval depends on the items you're selling, and level of collaboration. We will also balance the type of items being sold.

Doujin circles are free to do whatever they want with the space. Partition boards are provided and tables are optional for free. Make your own mini-exhibition if you want to.

Space renters are allowed to enter the hall during pre-event night for booth setups ( the committees will be working overnight till next morning, so take your time ). This will ensure that you have enough time to work with you booth and ensuring everything is ready by 10am.

More details and registration will be announced, soon.

Bear in mind that this method is still experimental and feedbacks are highly required to ensure that this method works fine. You can also discuss it with us at gacc2009@gmail.com.

AMV Competition

Let loose that video editting skills of yours.

The challenge is to make an Anime Music Video which is less than 5 minutes long. The scoring will be based on editing method used ( 50% ) and entertainment value ( 50% ).

The dateline for video submission is 1st of August 2009.

The GACC Grand Freeze

The GACC Committee has given a green light to a suggestion from icanhas.whatisgacc.com - The Grand Freeze.

The information will be released to Comic Fiesta forumers only and will not be announced anywhere else including our website. The GACC Security squad will be helping out to ensure the freeze goes smoothly.

Special Guest from Japan

Despite random rumors flying around, we are proud to be clarify that we are NOT having 'Hatsune Miku' as our special guest from Japan. The Hatsune Miku on the site, on the GACClite tshirt, and Hatsune Miku song used for DaiCon teaser that were made by the GACC committee are just coincidental. Really. I hope that clears out everything
