What i heard for uniten dean is >3.5, 1st class is >3.67, is that true? Most local uni dean list is slightly lower than 1st class...

QUOTE(ISFJ @ Feb 26 2010, 04:36 PM) Hi, I have a question for EE seniors. curently im taking thermo1 under hussein, for me his lecture teaching style is quite good but fast forwarding, so u have to pay a lot of attention under his section.I'm planning to take the following subjects next semester: 1) Electronics Analysis & Design II 2) Signal & System 3) Linear Algebra 4) Moral Studies II 5) Thermodynamics I I'd like suggestions on which lecturer should I pick for each subject (except for Moral Studies II). As for Thermodynamics I am planning to bring it forward to next semester although in the course outline it is stated as my fourth semester subject (next semester will be my third semester). Do you think it will be too heavy for me to handle, considering the other subjects I am taking next semester? I am also thinking of bringing forward Malaysian Studies, but I'm worried I'll be exhausted if I take too many subjects. Advice needed urgently so that I can start planning for my timetable. Thanks in advance not much homework given so if u want to score mostly depend on ur intiative to do more exercises. btw he is lenient =) yuzainee is great for LA that's what i heard but i failed to add her this sem, so im under fadhilah, nothing much to care about since this subject is based on understanding and its not very tough. Study on ur own also can. This post has been edited by painkillerz: Feb 26 2010, 09:27 PM |

problem is most of the CA 1 classes were cancelled and reserved for next sem new intake students... i cant find hazlinda as mentioned in both offered and cancelled section, choices i have now is prof.madya dr izham, dr tan ching sin and dr Azrul...=S
If i want to add dr amir for sure i need to wait till add drop, which there will be a lot of uncertainties. >< |

QUOTE(LiSa C @ Mar 2 2010, 06:57 PM) Does this mean that my grades depend on the standard of my lecturer, but not depends on my true ability or knowledge ???? I agree that studying in uni i have to be independent.Does this means that i have to depend on my luck on what type of lecturer that i would get that will decide my future ???? This is all nonsense..... You’ve got to be more independent in university..... Students hav to read everything themselves and there was no one who would explain anything to them.... It’s just up to us, the students, to take the initiative to study hard !!! The lecturers won’t spoon-feed you like how your school teachers did..... They also won’t care if you understand the class or not.... Thus is just my opinion, i could be wrong..... But what i'm thinking is that i'm paying for my course, is that any wrong for me to choose lecturer which is good in teaching? If the lecturer is not good, and i have to study on my own, is there any point for me to enter uni? For example if i take thermo and the lecturer is teaching nothing and bla bla bla in da class, i bet i will fail this sub. It's true students work hard sure they deserved a good result, i experienced that during my STP, but if there is a chance for me to grab a good teacher, why don't i do so? lol haha, no offense. =) This post has been edited by painkillerz: Mar 2 2010, 08:24 PM |

QUOTE(hexion @ Mar 14 2010, 01:27 AM) by the way suck refers to entertainment or school environment or lecturers or education system or have some sort of problem with studies thingy? or perhaps with the facilities? The shuttle service really kinda sucks, unless u have your own transport if not probably u just like living in a stranded island, i hate travel outside since most of the time u have to rely on taxi if u really don't have transport, and some of the taxi drivers have attitude problem. hmm because i didn't plan to play2 anymore this year didn't care much about the entertainment thingy..kinda mess up my spm last time..so time to do some correction...so i wouldn't need much entertainment or girls or guys..only need friends to study with and share some problem..it time for me to get serious in studies... please do share some more of your opinion ..i would like to listen to your story. can u explain a little bit more about the bloody tough part? why...the syllabus for foundation is slightly harder then the other college/university? or in uniten during foundation year, they study deeply more then they should comparing with other college/university does? and about the food also...i need my calcium... so guys/girls if it doesn't burden you please tell me the story/opinion/thought.. So far most lecturers i met were kinda great because of their enthusiasm in teaching. It's really worth to fight for good lecturers during subject registration since they really help. By the way, being industrious is the most crucial factor for you to score, no other ways. It wont be that hard for u to survive in uniten if u really have the heart to graduate. |
