Anyone knows how the average price is calculated after cap repayment for TM? Assuming buy twice at same volume
If 1st purchase is before cap repayment = $3.8 Then 2nd purchase is after cap repayment = $2.7 Then should my average price be (3.8+2.7)/2 - 0.98 ? Or should it be (3.8-0.98)+2.7 and divide 2? |

QUOTE(omores @ May 29 2009, 04:22 PM) By the way MALAYSIA Airline System Bhd, the state carrier, may book about RM1.7 billion of losses from wrong-way bets on fuel when it reports first-quarter results next month. Thats RM1 loss per share. Still can be top gainer? I only know they requested a delay in reporting the quarterly results. But if its that bad, it could be hell the day after... I think i read wrong news already. Malaysia GDP didnt contract but grew 6.2% instead. Cos all sector can go up as though in bull market. All sector like very muhibbah... |

T=TodayHm I've forgotten, the T+3 day means what ? The date of payment for the shares bought, right ? Darn n00b question, include saturday sunday or not? Dun include Sat Sun. Only include day the Bursa open.... So you buy today, your T+3 is Wednesday. |

QUOTE(omores @ Jun 2 2009, 03:38 PM) You can check malaysian insider for one of the articles. I can't remember where else i read the same thing. Eh....So we enter 2nd half of the year already lor.....Hahaha....So we are on the way to recovery already... http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/index.p...ating-in-april- Malaysiaās exports decline seen accelerating in April KUALA LUMPUR, June 2 ā Malaysiaās April exports are set to fall at a faster pace than in March on an annual basis and any upturn for Asiaās third most trade dependent economy will only come in the second half of the year, economists said. The countryās exports are likely to fall 22 per cent in April from a year earlier, according to a Reuters poll of 12 economists, after a 15.6 per cent decline in March. Another article is here with worse figures. http://www.lse.co.uk/MacroEconomicNews.asp..._on_china_boost Better not give more links. Make everyone FEAR only. Especially since I'm q-ing to buy some stocks. |

QUOTE(kroegand @ Jun 2 2009, 03:36 PM) Actually at the end of the article, the author writes, "But Perry said crude prices may climb to $70 within a week -- assuming crude inventories drop again in data set for release Wednesday by the U.S. Energy Information Administration".So this article tells us that Oil Prices can either go up or go down... Why this folks write like that? Never say for certain it will go up, never say for certain it will go down...Seems they all study kebarangkalian very much....Got possibility to go up and go possibility to go down... |

QUOTE(jgchoo @ Jun 3 2009, 02:55 PM) I bought Maybulk at 3.28 to take advantage of their 30sen dividend. After that, when drop to 2.82, i averaged down. Later when it went back up to 3.18 I sold semua for peanut profit and get the dividend two weeks ago. I had read a report that the BDI was going down and reacted too quickly. Now, it is going strong.... |

QUOTE(alooth @ Jun 5 2009, 09:50 AM) Did not see any news this week. I thought of buying on Monday, but looking at the uncertainty did not go in..Now missed the boat again!! x2 The recommendation for Transmile was in StarBiz on last Saturday. The previous week, it was Latexx (jump from 0.9x to 1.1x and now 1.2x) and previously another case of DRBHicom..... Not all the recommendation will go up la, but there is sound Fundamental AND Technical Analysis provided by the writer. Aaarrrgghh....Now i check the prices...So frustrating.....Transmile up from 0.8x to 1.0x alone this week and Latexx up to 1.30 already.... There was news on loan restructuring last Friday...... http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?f...27&sec=business This post has been edited by VyvernS: Jun 5 2009, 10:21 AM |
